Went to Arnie's for lunch and it was excellent. Wonderful view, friendly service and the food was delicious. A really nice place. What a huge improvement with all the renovations. They have a Jazz Sunday Buffet for only $9.95 per person. Definitely going to give that a try. I was very impressed. I read other reviews about slow service but our waitress was there right away and the order came out quickly. No problems at all. It's a great place to go for a glass of wine at the end of the day overlooking the golf course. Can't wait to go back. |

I gave this place one more try. Went there for lunch and service still slow wait. Staff all hanging around trying to look busy but more interested with the going on outside on the course. Food was so-so and was expecting more flare or imagination as you usually find at most golf clubs. I will try other places in the future. |

The service was terrible. They lost our reservation. Once seated I had to get up and ask the waiter to come take our drink orders having sat for 25 min. I had to get up and find the waiter 20 min after that to ask for bread. The bread came with the salad. Of course we would have preferred it before the salad. When the bread did come there was no butter. When the food finally arrived there was no sour cream for the baked potatoes. The salt shaker did not work because the salt was solidified. Had to wait a long time to order a second drink. When the coffee came there was no milk and we had to ask for that also. There were 3 of us in our party and we each ordered a different meal. We all thought the food was excellent and the view of the golf course was very nice so it is a shame they do not have their service under control. |

Dinner for 4 on Friday night....service slow and almost to the point of being incompetent. The wrong glass of wine was delivered not once but twice. French onion soup order was "lost", two dinners were "dropped" so they came out 10 minutes later than the other two dinners at the table. Staff gave us our entire dinners and one round of drinks for free BUT dinner was over 3 hours and the meals were the wrong ones (not what we ordered) when they finally came out! Everyone in the town is complaining....WAKE UP MANAGEMENT! |

For upscale dining it was very disappointing. I had to find the manager in order to have a table of 14, the restaurant was not busy. I have managed and been a patron at exclusive Golf Clubs in NJ and the service here does not even come close. Food was good but cold. What they need is to improve their management! Might go back if service improves. |

Dinner for four last Thrusday night. Menu selection was good, service fair to good, dinner entree portions very good, prices reasonable. Only negative was coffee - luke warm, even on second cup even after complaining? Waitress offered to "nuke it" for us - I guess brewing a fresh pot of hot coffee is not an option. Used to visit this location when it was Rafters...both lunch and dinner was very good then. Will return for lunch experience soon... stick with sandwiches and iced tea. Overall, this recent experience was just average. |

Too bad this place is so expensive. Great views of the golf course but the meal was just average and service was slow. I guess you are paying extra for their restorations. |
