I have flown in a couple times from Daytona. Easy free parking on the ramp for pilots. The food was delicious. I got the bruscetta burger both times. It was cooked perfectly and was very juicy. The homemade chips are amazing. I would go every weekend if it wasn't so expensive to rent an airplane. |

Went in at 2:00 today, waited 1 hour for 2 fish sandwiches, while people around us came in 30 minutes after us and had there food long before us. Order came out wrong, ordered Mahi Mahi and what I got was cheap fish fillet, and it was cold. Service was non-existent, she was more interested in talking to a table of guys over by the bar. Not my first time here, but it's certainly the last. |

This was our second time to High Jackers and it was just as good as the first time. However, we arrived at 9:25 p.m. and apparently the cooking staff was miffed -- the place closes at 10 p.m. This is a shame because I saw them turn 3 carloads full of people down. However, our food finally arrived, with hush puppies slowly in the trail. The waiter did his best and commented the cooking staff was ready to leave. I had the Portobello mushroom and red pepper sandwich and hubby had the chicken sandwich. Both were good. I recommend going earlier in the evening so you can watch the planes take off and land and not tick off the cooks -- even though technically they don't close until 10! |

High Jackers has a great location an dthe kids love watching the panes but inside it feels a little shabby. However, service is always swift and friendly and I really enjoy their Tradewinds Wrap. Fried items are a little heavy and too greasy though. |

Food has been good there since they opened. Like the new menu. I do think it is a little too pricey for the time of food they are serving (portions could be a little bit larger for that price). LOVE THE WINGS! |

It took me a long time to get my husband to eat at this restaurant but once he did... we have made High Jacker's a weekly ritual for us. We have never had a bad experience since we have been eating at this restaurant. We have had just about everything on the menu and it has always been excellent. They have even gone out of their way to do special orders for my husband. The servers have always been friendly and attentive, but our favorite is Britney. |

We have eaten at High Jackers several times over the past 2 weeks, after a lengthy absence. We love the new menu additions. Especially the salads. One day we visited with several friends (after golf) and just did appetizers. Everyone really enjoyed. Waitress attendance varies, and sometimes could be better, but overall, we really enjoy the food and location. |

5:00 pm, I stopped by to grab some dinner for the gang at home- utilizing the "Taxi Out" takeout menu... which usually ends up to be not quite as good as dining in- however... this was the absolute best meal I can remember! We enjoyed the shrimp-ka-bobs grilled to perfection! The orange ginger sauce they served with them should be bottled and sold!!! The sirloin special was perfect- seasoned to perfection! Cooked to perfection! First time we didn't need A1! And only $8.50! Should be added on the permanent menu! If anyone wants to enjoy the best tasting crab legs- High Jackers is the place! This is the first time I ever ate crab legs WITHOUT butter! So perfectly tastful! We also had the Greek Chicken salad... another absolute winner! The dressing they served was, again, PERFECT!!! (a little costly-$10.00- but worth it!!) I highly recommended the cook get a raise! Or just make him work 7 days a week! :) It was all perfect- and for a TO-GO order- the food was even delicious cold! Thank you High Jackers!!!! One more thing- if anyone orders from the take out- don't forget to tip that wonderful cook! |

My wife and I usually have Saturday lunch here... good food, good waitstaff and a fun atmosphere. We like the variety of sandwiches and the sides are always very flavorful. Never been there for dinner so we should try it soon. If you like this place you might also want to try 3 Bananas out in Crescent City which is another great lunch place with a varied menu. Hats off to Hijackers... we love the non-chain eateries like this! |

The food was great! Went for lunch and enjoyed it! The only problem was the service, not so good very slow (took almost 30 minutes just to get the drink) then the food was about fifteen minutes later. The place was not very busy so that cannot be it. Not as friendly as it has been in the past either, maybe it was just a bad day. |

I love Highjackers the food and atmosphere is great! We had a server by the name of Megan a few months ago who we absolutely loved and promised to come see again, and are very disappointed to find out she is no longer there :( We will still come in though because all the other servers are just as great! We recently just met Kyna who gave us such pleasant service! You will definitely see our faces again A++++ |

We went to High Jackers with friends last night. Our server was pleasant and efficient. However, my husband and I were disappointed with our grouper dinners. The fish was way overcooked - totally dried out. Yuck. The beans and rice side was pretty much tasteless. They must have forgotten to put the seasonings in. It's a rare occasion when I don't come home with my leftovers, but this was one of them. On a more positive note, I think our friends' burgers were ok. |

Just moved to Palm Coast a few months ago and my wife and I were driving by and saw the sign, we decided to try it out. I must say excellent service and the food was delicious. Why I gave 5 stars was also for the live entertainment it was marvelous there were 2 guys playing island rock and the steel drums I have never heard anything like it these guys are awesome. We will be back Adam and Diana very pleased customers |

Worked in Palm Coast for years and always drove by High Jackers, Once my wife and I moved up here we went and ate at High Jackers. Food was excellent, could not ask for better service. Yes, true you will not find it in AARP monthly, but if you still have a pulse and like great food in a great atmosphere. This is the place |

I went here several months ago. The chicken salad was dry with questionable chunks, not all white meat. The service was slow and the place was not even 1/4 full, so there really was no reason for it. I was surprised as a couple of associates had good things to say about the place. I didn't enjoy it at all, and will not be going back. |

I found this hideaway driving around Flagler one day. My husband and I went there that night and it is a pleasant restaurant. Nice service, good food and when planes are landing - neat scenery. A unique experience with a hometown feel. Will go back. We recently ate at their sister restaurant High Tides - also good. |

To my surprise they got rid of the music. Must have been all the complaints about how loud it was. Have to admit it was alittle loud.We try and go there once a week, and find it consistently very good. The service is always friendly and very receptive to your needs. The wide variety of beer and wine to select from is nice but I wonder if they have ever thought about doing a full bar?How does everybody feel about this? Dont want them to turn into a full blown bar but maybe a nice frozen drink would be nice. thumbs up to the staff and ownership, they do a great job and it is a nice addition to Flagler County. |

My husband and I went here a few months ago. We both ordered the nightly dinner special. A beef stroganoff type thing. They served the pasta dry and the sauce with meat on the side. The portion was miniscule, and we paid something like $13 each for it. We were so hungry we both ordered appetizers after dinner. I had the cheese soup which was probably just out of a can. I was prepared for the plastic dinnerware and the casual atmosphere, the music wasn't too loud when we were there. But I was very disappointed. We paid somewhere around $60 for dinner and I would have been happier at McDonalds for $12. If you want a sports bar atmosphere and to hang with your friends for drinks, this looks like the place. But don't expect to be satified eating here. |

Whilst on a visit to the USA this was one of the places on my wish list of things to do...eat here, and I was not dissapointed! Although service was initially a little slow which might be due to my friend and I sitting outside, once we were attended too the service improved and the food was fantastic. As an aviation enthusiast it was also great fun to watch the action out there whilst dining too, a real fun experience. I can receommend the Shrimp Sandwhich to anyone looking for a lighter option; flavour a plenty and shrimps to make your hair curl! Thanks chaps, I will be wearing my t-shirt with pride! |

After hearing lots of positive comments about High Jackers we thought we'd give it a try. We could'nt have been happier with our meal. I had blackened Mahi-Mahi and my wife had the filet migion with mushrooms & onion sandwich. Both our entrees were delicious. Cooked perfectly, portions ample for my big appetite, and priced fairly. The service was friendly, very quick and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. We were there Sun. afternoon and the place had a good crowd and everyone seemed like they were having a great time. This was a nice place to have a casual dinner. The decor was rustic and clean, the staff was very positive fun and friendly. Our drinks came out fast and full. Our server gave a good discription of the food we orderd. The Swordfish dish I had was presented very well other than the plastic-ware, the dish had a rich sauce with shrimp and penne which was very good, the fish was a little fishy for me, I asked my server if I could try some wings instead and with no problem, I recived my huge hot wings! I was very pleased with them. The menu has alot to choose from, we will go back again, we had a good experience. |

Salad was OK. They haven't learned from their mistakes. |

C'Mon now. The music gets loud yes---but sorry folks this old folk town needs a little spice. I know conversation is good over dinner, but you have plenty of time for conversation before and after and at golf course, bridge meetings, ect. Pretty good music combined with good food, and some of the best happy hour prices on beer and appetizers out there. BE SURE to go during the NFL playoffs, great atmosphere and nice weather outside for a cigar. |

When we moved to Palm Coast everyone said we should go to High Jackers. After finally making it there last weekend I was very dissapointed. We arrived for dinner and were seated straight away in a large sreen room. The decor was fun and the staff friendly. We ordered and within 5 minutes someone came on the stage and began blaring us out of our seats. I suppose we are getting old, but we just couldn't tolerate the noise. If you are young I'm sure it may be your thing. For us though, dinner should just be a nice relaxing experience with good conversation. Both were impossible here. The food was rather average and not worth enduring the noise over. |

I agree with a lot of the other posts in that the music is way too loud. There is no way you can sit hold a conversation over dinner. I was also not impressed with the food. I ordered a fish sandwich basket and it tasted as if it were refried from lunch. The hush puppies were rock hard too. The service was good though and drinks were refilled regularly. Overall it was not enjoyable and I doubt I'll return. |

We went to dinner here last night and was very disappointed. The music was so loud, you could not talk unless you yelled. The sign on the door states that it is a smoke-free environment and by the time we left the smoke was so thick that my throat and eyes were burning. Maybe the manager had gone home. We will NEVER go back!

Ok for the younger crowd with no conversation, because it's so loud in there you can't talk. The music was blaring! If I want music like that, I'd go to a concert or a club, not a restaurant. I was not impressed with the food either. It tasted overfried and the bun was stale. |

I visited High Jackers for the first time with my husband for lunch and it was wonderful. We both had sandwhich plates and they were fresh, hot and loaded. More than we could both eat. On our second visit a few weeks later we took friends from out of town for dinner and it wa slike a different restauarnt. The music was so loud we couldn't talk and service was slow. Our food was not as good either. Two of ours was ok, but I had the oysters which were very tough and my friends sandwhich's bread was so dry and stale it fell apart when she picked it up. I can't 100% blame the oysers, but I was also very sick that night too. |

I wrote an earlier review above of this restaurant when it first opened. Since then I have been several times and noticed a steady decline. Service is getting much slower and the food really has gotten worse. Sandwich buns are dry and stale and everything seems thrown together in a sloppy manner. I will give High Jackers one more chance before I call it quits. |

I have enjoyed lunch at High Jackers several times, however, on my firt visit in the evening I was dissapointed. The music was far too loud for conversation and the food was poor quality. I had the Fillet Sandwhich which was tough, my partner said her Oyster Sandwhich was dissapointing and the kids barely touched their meals (which is very rare!). In fact, I tasted the shrimp one child had ordered and it was obviously old. My advice is to stick to High Jackers just for lunch. |

I really enjoyed this place. Fun atmosphere, good service, and the food was great. Excellent place for a beer and sandwhich and watch the planes. |

This is a very fun and interesting restaurant. Try the Fillet Sandwich... it's great! Plentiful, good atmosphere, lively service and fun location. I think this is one of Flagler's best restaurants. |

I always liked Snack Jacks and this one is almost identicle in terms of the menu. Same quality and good service. Some entree's are a bit over priced though. Location makes it something different. |

This is a fun restaurant. The food is good and plentiful plus the service was excellent. Great place to sit and watch the planes go by. Equally as good as its sister restaurant Snack Jacks. |
