Woody's barbeque might not have the greatest reviews, several times my wife and I have dined in and ordered to-go on busier nights and the service was friendly, fast and food arrived hot and just how we specified..We will be returning! |

I order Woody's regularly for lunch and lately the orders have been missing items and been very messy as if the food was just thrown in the box. I hope they fix their problems because I'm giving this place a rest for a while. |

I have been to Woody's three times since they remodeled and put in the bar. Each time, the hostess insisted in seating us at the table in the corner in the dark. The first two times, even though we were in sight of the wait staff, we got very poor service. They were too busy eating themselves to get food for the customers. They seem to forget that it's the customers eating and paying that provides them money for their own food and other needs. The third time the hostess tried to seat us in the dark corner, we just left. We had failed to bring a flashlight so we could see the menu. the food itself is excellent, especially the BBQ and coleslaw. |

I've just had my last experience at Woody's in Flagler! I went for lunch on Thursday, October 25th and from the moment I walked in the door it was a disaster. When we walked in the girl behind the counter rolled her eyes and said she was busy so she couldn't help us right away then she walked off. After waiting for a few minutes she came back and very rudely gave a man his takeout order and said she could seat us now, I told her that we were 2 adults and one child since she never asked and when we got to the table she threw down the menus and walked away. I had asked her for a high chair and she did not respond. After 5 minutes I went up to the hostess stand and asked for a highchair and she said she would get it in a minute. Well, she never did, and when the server came over I asked her for one and she brought it 15 minutes later. My lunch was cold and dry and, with the exception of our very nice server, everything was HORRIBLE! NEVER AGAIN! |

I have never had a bad experience at Woody's. I have eaten in the restaurant 4 times and I have ordered take out more times than I can count. I absolutely LOVE their ribs! The sauce is so good and the meat just falls off the bone! I won't go anywhere else for my ribs now. Great sweet tea, too. It is definitely worth the 20 minute drive there for me. |

Typically we enjoy Woody's for lunch, however, our visit last Sunday evening was less than satisfactory. The staff appeared to be poorly managed and service was slow and inattentive at best. We had to ask for a server after we had been seated for over 10 minutes without service. She arrived with no apology and gave the impression it was an inconvenience to wait on us. Our food seemed to take a long time and there were constant bouts of laughter and shenanigans coming from the kitchen. Once again we had to seek a server to get drink refills. There was then more laughter and a loud crash. We were then informed that my food had been dropped and I had to wait for it to be cooked again. The restaurant appeared to be ran by teenagers intent on either doing their homework at the tables or playing around, instead of providing quality service to their customers. I expect better. |

Woody's is usually very good but lately the service has been really lacking. I especially notice a difference when seated on the higher level. Our server was non-existent throughout and twice I had to track her down. We never got side items ordered until it was too late and refills never happened. Waited a long time for check. |

Woody's is a fun place with quite good food and friendly service. Apart from their fries which are never good in my opinion, we always enjoy the food at Woody's, and the girls serving are always friendly and attentive. I like the new make over and I really like paying at the table now instead of at the counter. |

Woody's now has a bar and a lighter wood decor. They have removed a lot of the booths in favor of middle often floor tables which isn't too good, but overall it's still nice inside with a fun atmosphere. The service for lunch was very slow at first. It seemed to take forever for a server to finally come over, but once she did the service was very good. We noticed the salads were not as large as they used to be but were still tasty. The sandwiches were good but we were not impressed with the fries. They were very thin string like fries that tasted like the cheap frozen kind. Overall, lunch at Woody's was very good with just the exception of the fries. |

Compared to Sonny's... WOODY'S ROCKS! The atmosphere is the best around, the people are great and the Food is consistently phenomenal... Glad to see the place is getting a face lift... It looks like they're remodeling the whole restaurant... Kudos on the Facelift... We have always enjoyed the Family Atmosphere of Woody's... If you haven't eaten here, then you haven't experienced good ol' Southern Hospitality and Great Bar-B-Q! |

Have visited Woody's at least 5 times since moving to Palm Coast in January 2007 and can say, that every time it was a pleasurable experience. Friendly, prompt and efficient waiters/waitresses and good quality BBQ for decent prices. Also frequent their competitor Sonny's, which does have better sides, but have to say, that the sliced beef and pork at Woody's is far superior, more moist/tender and highly recommend. |

I used to love the salads at Woody's but they are no longer as fresh or as good as they used to be. The lettuce is nearly always brown and wilted and there's a lot less cucumber and tomato. I hope they improve and get back to how they were. |

Woody's seem to be sliding down a bit lately. Although service has maintained, during my last few visits I have noticed a decline in food quality and in particular its freshness. Yesterday, I ordered a mesquite chicken salad and I had to pick out the wilted and brown lettuce. Previously meat is becoming tougher and more dry. I hope this is just temporary and that they are not lowering their standards. |

$30 for take-out BBQ for 2 and it was horrible! My baked potato was rotten, spare ribs were dry and baby backs were 80% fat and bone. Veggies and bread tasted like they were sitting there for a week. Gave us 2 small containers of sauce for 2 slabs of ribs, gee thanks.
I guess we will stick with Sonny's. It's a shame there are no "great" BBQ places around here! |

I often have Woody's take-out for lunch and when I picked up my order yesterday there was no silverware (plasticware?) in the basket next to the register and the server just rolled her eyes and expected me to eat my salad with my fingers. She very reluctantly went out the back to get some silverware and mde it very clear I was being an inconvenience to her. The food was good but please don't blame customers or show that kind of attitude. It's very unprofessional. |

We were at Woody's Sunday night it was the fourth time we had been at the Woody's in Palm Coast and the chicken was dry burnt on the outside and the sweet potato was dry it had been sitting for some time. We had spent time in Port Orange and went to that Woodys several times, it was great never a bad meal. I think it must be the management. It is never real busy either. I will not go back. |

My wife, daughter & I have eaten lunch and dinner at Woody's now several times during the past weeks; the latest was dinner Friday. I feel this place deserves a 5-star rating now based on service, quality and quantity of food, menu selection, service, cleanliness and price. I would give it 4 stars but everything has fallen into place these past few visits. We recommend Woody's for good BBQ in PC. |

Each time I have been in Woodys BBQ I have been faced with the same slowness of service. The kids who are waiting tables take their time getting the order and don't even think of getting a second glass of tea. They seem to disappear into the woodwork and cannot be found. When I order a take out, I could very easily take a nap before the food comes out. I will stick with Sonny's BBQ especially the "pulled" from now on. |

I need to register a complaint about the service provided by the Palm Coast Wood's restaurant on or about 7 April 03.
Please forward this complaint to someone who cares about the service provided by the Woody's franchises.
If I don't hear from you, I'll resort to other methods of recourse such as the BBB and home town newspaper, but I'd like to see Woody's resolve this problem internally.
My wife and I visited the Palm Coast Woody's on or about 7 April 03. We arrived at approximately 11:05 am. We had been to this restaurant several times in the past and received good service and the food was excellent. However, things didn't turn out that way on this April 7 visit.
We came into the main entrance to the restaurant and were greeted by a girl who said only "two?". She didn't really greet us as other hostesses do in other restaurants with a smile and a warm greeting. She didn't seem to be happy to see us even though we didn't know her from Adam (or Eve).
She then grabbed two menus and led us to the first available table. We were the only customers in the restaurant.
We then sat there for ten minutes waiting for someone to serve us. We heard people talking in the background about their work schedule and how Josh was going to be twenty minutes late.
Then, another employee walked by sipping on a Woody's soda (which I would have liked to have had) and gave us a look of disdain.
She proceeded to walk past us and went up to the cash register in the front and conversed with the aforementioned hostess.
Another customer did come in and was waiting for a take out order, I believe.
So, after ten minutes, we got fed up and got up to leave.
I had a few choice words to say, something like, "What is wrong with this place. Don't they know that customers are waiting?" I used no profanity and didn't direct my words to anyone in particular since I didn't see any employees in the restaurant at that time.
As we exited the restaurant, I saw a large gentleman approaching from the back. He mumbled something and looked like he was embarrassed about the situation.
Anyway, the Palm Coast Woody's needs to be counseled on customer relations. At a minimum, they need to know that when customers come in the door, they should be treated with the minimum of respect and they should be served in less than ten minutes when there is only one party in the restaurant.
I look forward to your response. I'm not looking for a free meal or anything. I would just like your assurance that Woody's will try harder if and when we ever visit again. The Palm Coast manager needs to be informed of his employees' conduct. |

We must update our report on Woody's. The food was great, given their style of BBQ, including the selection of sauces which do not detract from the taste of the food unless of course you use too much. The prices are reasonable for the portions. Nothing wrong with the menu selections. The place was clean including the restrooms. Last, the service has really improved although there are still youngsters making up the serving staff - these young people are much more polite and alert than before. In summary we think they now deserve the 5-star rating.

Went there for lunch. It was OK.
Had the baby back ribs lunch special (1/2 rack plus garlic bread and 2 sides).
The ribs were real good...fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy with a nice flavor. The sauce tastes much better than Sonny's (which is awful).
The sides: garlic bread - didn't detect any garlic; cole slaw - minced up cabbage and carrots, no detectible dressing; and baked beans - pretty good.
Service was very quick and friendly, however, it was 2:00 PM and not too many people in the restaurant.
All-in-all, not a bad experience. I'll definitely try it again, but will ask for a whole rack of baby backs next time and skip the cole slaw.
