I only get take out from Bamboo Creek. Every time I go in there they are always quick to greet me. They are quick with getting the food out to me so I can get home. It is close to where I live and the food has always been tasty. I have never dined in so I can't say much for the customer service, but the customer service I have experience picking up my orders have been fantastic. |

We've eaten 'in' several times at China Bistro and found it to be pretty good both in flavor and quantity. BUT we ordered out last night and were really disappointed in the little amount of food we got, especially for the price. I called to complain but it seemed no one cared. Don't think I'll be back just because of their 'we don't give a $#!t' attitude. Sorry |

My Wife ate here 7/19/2008. She ordered Chicken with Cashew Nuts and supposed to have vegetables like red and green peppers. No peppers but at least a cup of un-cooked chopped celery which she removed and stacked on her plate. Complained to three different staff and no one cared. My shrimp and scallops meal was totally tasteless. We will not be going there again.
We also took 20% off coupon for two and were told it was a miss-print so would only give us 10% off. Avoid this place, waste of your money and we do have other much better choices for Chinese. |

I enjoy bamboo creeks Triple Delight, Boneless spare ribs, honey, orange and sesame Chicken, and orange beef are about the main courses I've tried so far (I go once a week). Regardless of portion size, the food is fresh and excellent with no trace of flavors from other meals that were cooked in the same pan. I highly recommend because it is fresh. I'm tired of the other washed up Chinese places that have been in town and their egg rolls starting to taste like the age of the restaurant. When it all breaks down to it, in my opinion, for me the food quality stacked up against other Palm Coast Chinese places, not quantity. |

We get take out from this place at least twice a month! We think it's great, and my hubby is really picky about his Chinese food. Never eaten in the restaurant so I can't really say what the service is like. But the staff is always nice when I go in to pick up. |

I think the mixture of reviews only prove my experiences with this restaurant... inconsistency! On some days the food is very good and on others it's quite bad. The service never is good and only adequate at best. I have been here several times because it's convenient to my home, but I'm really going to make the effort to travel further for better Chinese food in the future. |

I see a lot of bad reviews concerning the taste and the service. I usually get the take-out, though, so service isn't normally an issue. I think their pork-fried rice is tops! I've always thought the food tasted great (not too salty and over juiced up to satisfy American's taste buds, but not as bland as some real Chinese food tastes for me). Portions are great to me, and I really love the containers they give you for take-out. I use those containers at home after cleaning them.
I did eat-in twice, and thought the service was kind of slow once (busy time), but wasn't neglected or anything. I went during a slow time and had great service!
I keep going back to them because I really like them. I'd recommend them any time. |

This place is like an overpriced version of China King. The only difference is they give less food than China King and charge more. Definitely not a step in the right direction to compete with them. |

This place was awful. I went one night with a group of friends. We were waiting on them to get there but apparently so were the staff. We were not greeted for about 20-25 minutes. I was really being very patient seeing I was the only one that was starving. So finally we ordered and the food came out. Well, everyone's food BUT MINE! Go figure right? So the server tried telling me I never ordered... Uhhh, right. BULL! The ambiance was beautiful though. All in all I would NEVER return to Bamboo Creek. |

This place sucks! Seriously, I love Chinese food and it's wonderful, when you get it from the right place. The portions are horrible, it's literally the same amount of food for the dinner special as it is for the lunch special but twice the price. The food was bland, no taste whatsoever. I hated it all around. I took the food home so I have no complaint of the service. China One is the way to go! 3 times the food at the same price, plus much tastier. |

The food is ok, and I would only get takeout. We have dined in 2 times and both times the service was absolutely horrible. The waitresses really don't speak to you and you can't understand what they say when they do speak. Very cold personalities there!! It's ok if you just want take out but I wouldn't recommend dining in. |

The food is average, and very bland. It seems to me that the employees feel like there not happy to serve Americans. Don"t get me wrong the service is efficient but not friendly or personable at all. Personally my dining experience includes a smile from the server and a hello. I hope that's not asking much. My kids asked dad why no tip and I replied, "why no hello or smile?" |

We celebrated our friends birthday on April 12, 2008. This was the first time we were there. Nice ambiance and attentive and friendly service. My husband's pepper steak was very tender and tasty. Three of us had shrimp and lobster sauce, which two of us found the sauce was bland, though the shrimps were large and tasty. The chicken and pineapple and the sweet and sour chicken was very good. The fried rice was tasteless, and the soup was OK. |

I think people in Palm Coast must have better taste than this. God Awful food. Slimey, tasteless sauces, rice that smells as if it is very old and musty and "over used." Employees more interested in their own conversations than in their own customers who they treat with contempt. Are people in Palm Coast inspiring this kind of treatment due to lack of manners themselves? What can I say? Is our home cooking sooo bad that we must resort to this? |

I always believe in giving second chances.....but I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone! My first visit was with my fiancé and our kids and the service was poor....we couldn't get the attention of anyone to wait on us and when we finally got eye contact we were told "hold on"....well, many minutes later our order was taken and not much personality or friendliness was in our order taker. I ordered sesame chicken and the broccoli was raw....NOT steamed...but raw! I just avoided the broccoli and continued with the rest of my meal. The rice was the smallest portion I'd ever seen and we never got another refill on our drinks and again....couldn't get the attention of anyone to return. My eldest son got the bourbon chicken and his broccoli was well cooked and very good. So.....the day of the bridal show here in Flagler County I took my bridesmaids and myself to give it a second try. I figured I'd try the bourbon chicken seeing how it was good when my son ordered it.....NOPE!!! Once again... RAW broccoli and I spoke up this time and mentioned to the again very elusive and hard to get waitress. I told her that I had been here before and that my meal today wasn't like when my son had it. She took my plate and said she'd bring cooked version back....NOPE AGAIN.. I gave up. I will never eat at this place again. It may look nice and clean but the service is pathetic and the food isn't near what I've experienced before. AWFUL!! Beware of things that appear classy and higher end. I was highly disappointed both times! |

My husband and I stopped by a few weeks ago for the first time for dinner. He ordered Cashew Chicken and I ordered Pepper Steak. It was a nice appearing restaurant. Our food was quite good and the service was very good. There is only one thing that we couldn't believe. When our food arrived, we were each given only one very small scoop of rice with our entrees. When my husband asked for more rice, the waiter told him we'd be charged an extra $1.00 for it. When my husband showed his amazement but agreed to pay it because he couldn't finish his meal without the rice, the waiter brought it to him, but didn't charge us. |

Went there for the second time tonight. This was the first time we had eaten dinner there The food once again was just incredible. I had the Five O, which is shrimp, scallops, chicken and pork in a garlic sauce and it was fantastic. My wife had the chicken chow mein and loved it. We will definitely be back again and soon! |

When we received the take out menu in the mail we were very excited to try Bamboo Creek (especially since we are fans of China King).
Being vegetarian I was intrigued by the vegetarian offerings listed on the take out menu & that is what prompted us to go last Sunday night. We were seated next to the swinging kitchen door & a few times I thought food would be dropped on my head. We had to ask what were the drink items because they are not listed on the menu. The hostess rattled off some soft drinks. I asked for hot tea & it was barely luke-warm! She never mentioned any alcoholic beverages (but it is stated on the take out menu that they have a liquor license). Then I noticed that none of the vegetarian dishes were listed on the menu! When I asked the waitress about it she said they were only on the take out menu. So I asked for the General Tso Tofu from the take out menu, but that I wanted it "for here". My husband's food was brought out & I sat there for 5 minutes wondering when my food would come. I went up to ask (because our waitress hadn't come back to check on us) & they had it in a take out bag at the counter! They could not give me an answer to the question "Why can't I get a vegetarian meal for here?" They put my food on a plate for me, but the experience was sadly ruined. The waitress had never returned to our table.
From the swinging kitchen door hitting the back of my head, to the undrinkable tea, to the poor service it was a heart breaking experience for this China King fan.
My number one suggestion to Bamboo Creek- please list and serve vegetarian dishes on the restaurant menu, not just on the take out. It made me feel like us vegetarians are not good enough to be seated in your restaurant.
Aside from the swinging kitchen door, the decor was nice. There were no chop sticks, either. |

I like Bamboo Creek a lot. So far I've only gotten take out. The blond haired guy working the register/front is on the ball, friendly and gets the orders right in the time quoted. We've gotten beef with broccoli, Mongolian Chicken, Poo-poo platters, Hunan Chicken and all have been delicious. Also, judging by the amount of business they're doing, a lot of other people feel the same way. They are busy both dine in and take out. Good for them! |

This is a 'sit down' venture of China King. Same food and owners but service was horrible. You cannot order cart style. If you order the Sesame Chicken, then that's all you get is Sesame Chicken. Not like other Chinese dining where you order several different plates and everyone at your table shares from the Entrees ordered. 2 adults, 3 children came to over $76.00. Then the service is split between 3 different people, soft drinks from one person, bar drinks from another and the food from a third person. Saw each type of waiter or waitress once and never again after that until bill time. People around us were looking around for their waiter/waitress and waiving down whoever came by. Nice interior but cramped. Maybe in a year when the kinks are worked out it will be worth visiting, until then the regular China King is the best bet for the price. No children's menu's either. Each of my kids, 6,8, and 13 ordered Sesame chicken and were brought a huge plate of Sesame Chicken and a small bowl of rice. |

The food isn't too bad. The flavors were good but the meat was tough and vegetables a little on the chewy side. The fried rice was excellent! Service was very poor. Our server disappeared and no one checked on us. Had to get up and find help to get drink refills. At which point discovered staff were sitting eating and chatting. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again! |

The service was bad but the food was quite good. I had General Tso's Chicken which was nice and spicy and my wife had a dish called Four Seasons which she enjoyed. But our server was almost non existent and we couldn't get drink refills or even the bill. The place is nice inside though and maybe we will just stick with take-out's in the future. |

The restaurant is very nice inside and I like that you can see through to the kitchen which looks very clean. The menu is mostly the usual Chinese items but it does have a lot on there. The food was good but the service was poor. Once our food arrived our server disappeared! We had to hunt him down for drink refills (especially as my dish was very spicy) and again later for the check. |

We've been once for dinner, once for lunch, and both times were excellent. So far, I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in Palm Coast. The staff was friendly as well. Dinner service was a bit slow, but they were swamped and obviously a bit understaffed (start-up kinks for a new place are common). I look forward to going here on a regular basis, alternating with Thai by Thai. |

I always feel when I go to China King that they are doing me a favor. The girl behind the counter doesn't smile and many times has an attitude. Unfortunately I have learned to settle for mediocre food in Palm Coast. But even knowing that Bamboo Creek is the same owners I wanted to give them a try.
The service was terrible and the food was very so-so. The owner (at least I think he was the owner but it could have been the manager) was very disinterested in what I had to tell him. I understand they are new and because of that I will certainly go back once again when they have a chance to get it right. I really hope they improve because I would love a good Chinese restaurant in Town Center. |

Surprise! The owners also are the owners of China King. Not unhappy with that since we like China King food better than anyone else in Palm Coast. But, our first take out order at Bamboo Creek was "minus" the white rice and gave us "Egg Drop" soup instead of "Won Ton" soup. The rest of our order was on the same level of China King, which we found to be the better of the other Chinese take out. The restaurant seating and decor did not inspire us to eat inside the restaurant. But, we still like their cooking. However, China King is closer to our location than Bamboo Creek, so we will stick with China King. |

My General Tso's chicken, fried rice and egg roll were quite good. For a new eatery I was impressed with the organization and speedy preparation of my food. Lunch price of $4.95 was good also. No need to travel elsewhere unless you want buffet. |
