I have always gone to this place in Palm Coast for my Chinese food. The best around for portions. Service has always been quick. I just call the order in and is always ready when I get there. I recommend this place to anyone. |

New staff from telephone order taker to cooks and what a difference! Grownups now in charge and they know what they are doing. Figured it might be a fluke but have returned twice and excellent food, courteous service, which is all there is to a takeout restaurant. Beef and broccoli and moo goo gai pan very tasty, lives up to New York style promotion. Hope this holds up. Restaurant life in Palm Coast can be like a soap opera - things change fast. |

Falloff in quality since this place opened is disappointing. We thought we had a winner here. Nope. Steady decline. Won tons...hard as a rock. Noodles...dry as dust. Egg Foo Young...fooey. I can ignore typical Asian arrogance if the food is good but it isn't here. China King advertises New York Style fare...yeah, if you're in Poughkeepsie. Still waiting for a top-flight Chinese restaurant in Palm Coast. |

We have ordered plenty of times and have never been disappointed. The food is good and when they say spicy, they are correct. We tell everyone that this is the place to go for good Chinese food. |

Probably best around Chinese food. Best to call in your order instead of waiting on Friday nights. Place can get busy. I only order from China King, food is better tasting than other places around. |

Hey, it's take out Chinese food. What does everyone expect- black tie fine gourmet dining complete with wine list & candle light?
I will say though that of all the Chinese take out food I've ever had this place is the best. The fact that you can see into the kitchen is a bonus- you see what's going on in there! Is it a bit dirty? Well sure, but then again the cooks are cooking non-stop at lightening speed at all times, so stopping to mop the floor every five minutes may not be practical. You should see my kitchen when I'm in a cooking frenzy! And I'm cooking for two- not a city full of people all wanting take out at the same time!
I disagree that they are rude. The guys cooking in the kitchen are too busy frying up your food to take the time to say hello. The two young ladies who tend the counter sales/answer the phone/call out that your order is ready/run the register/deal with indecisive customers/answer your questions about what all is in the lo mien/help in the kitchen/etc. (all at the same time!) are always friendly, but efficient. They do not have time for small talk, they are too busy doing all of the above! Save the chit chat for your dinner companion- just grab your food & go enjoy!
All call in orders are ready in "ten minutes"! That is excellent time (you can't drive faster than that in Palm Coast anyway!!). The food is good, hot, & spicy. There have been a few misses, but hey, that can happen any where! If you are pleasant when you make your complaint they will work with you. Nobody likes to be yelled at even when they're wrong. The fact that their first language is Chinese is no reason to assume they are rude or stupid. You all have had a life time to learn English & some still can't seem to master it! Give them a break for trying under such trying conditions.
If you want good Chinese take out this is the place to get it from. We order from there every Saturday night! |

Their food has been pretty decent. But, they are Very, Very Rude in their treatment of customers. They understand only enough English to take orders, and cannot seem to understand complaints. We will never go back. |

We ordered for the first time the other night, and I was pleasantly surprised with some things, not so much with others. The steamed dumplings and sauce were EXCELLENT, the Mongolian Beef was spicy and pretty good. The pork fried rice, just so-so and greasy. Spring roll was not so good -- I've had better out of the frozen food section at home.
We might be back Our order was put together promptly and correctly and even included the free quart of wonton soup (which I had for lunch today and it was so-so). But those steamed wontons will be the main reason we go back. |

Pretty good food. We tend to try all the Chinese take out's in Palm Coast and they're all very similar to each other in regards to service, food and cleanliness. I'm a Sesame Chicken lover and this one is about average. |

This place has definitely done something new to make their ratings go up. I have been coming here for about two years now and they have absolutely improved the quality of their food. Last night I had their pork egg foo young , fried rice and egg roll. All of it was top quality...Very Delicious! Thank you! |

The taste is OK and the menu is typical for a Chinese take out of this class. Service basic due to limited language skills and the occasional dish is cooked very well. I'm still sampling different items and some are better than others. |

New to Palm Coast, we tried take-out from China King. It is the kind of scary take-out that people joke about. You can see back into the kitchen, and it is dirty. (I am in the restaurant business. If it looks dirty, it is.) The food is cheap, and the first experience was decent. The second smelled funny and we got sick. Needless to say, we are looking for a new take-out place. That's the fun of moving to a new town! Gastrointestinal experimentation! |

We tried China King the first time about 2 months ago. They were good, and the best since we moved to Palm Coast 2 years ago. We requested a little more 'heat' in some of their dishes (e.g. Hot & Sour soup). We now order their food at least once a week. We try new items as well as our favorites. If anything, they keep improving. Order is always correct and completed quickly. Last week we visited our "favorite' chinese restaurant while on a family visit to Raleigh, NC. Like all things, they either went down hill (consensus of all), and we really think China King is better. |

I have been going here since they 1st opened . The place really needs a facelift( Decor). The food is average and is at a fair price. The service is fairly good and food is pretty much plentiful.
I would say it is better than most in town. |

I have been to this restaurant twice in one years and have to say that their service is quite unfriendly. I had decided to give them another try today, but it was the same experience I had the last time, so needless to say I won't patronize them anymore. |

My family and I order food from China King about once every two weeks and they have always got the order right, the food ready fast, and the most tasteful flavors of all the chinese resturaurants around. They are always very friendly and humble to their customers. Not to mension entertaining to watch because of their amazing multi-tasking skills while cooking.
I always get the lemon chicken wich is: stir-fried chinese veggies with breaded chicken breast,(sliced)and a lemon sauce served on the side...mmmm mmmm!
you have to try it! It's right next to Pizza hut, (by Alberson's). |
