Inside, it is much nicer now than it used to be, but the food is not the best. Nothing tastes like I expect it to. The General Tso's Chicken, for example, tastes just like breaded chicken in a watery ketchup and nothing like General Tso's I've had elsewhere. Most of the other items all taste the same and everything has a sweetness to it. |

My husband and I have visited the Grand Hong Kong for lunch and for dinner. We enjoyed both experiences and were amazed at so many wonderful choices of food. The warmers were always full and attended to, and the wait staff replaced plates and filled glasses as needed; we never felt rushed. The atmosphere is pleasant and spotless. Liked the soft background music, and appreciated the clean / attractive rest rooms. We are having friends visit from "up north" soon and plan to take them there for the dinner buffet. Great prices, tasty food and good service. Nice to have a restaurant like this in Palm Coast. |

Tried this new place this past weekend with company over...Service and cleanliness was above average, waitresses very nice. Unfortunately, the food wasn't hot (at 5:30!), the chicken dishes were all tough, the lo mein was like angelhair pasta, no white rice available - only fried w/shrimp. Not much in each chafing dish, like it was leftover. Back to Lucky's for us. Sorry! |

Great improvement since it first opened. Nice and clean with a wide range of dishes some of which I've never seen on a Chinese buffet before. Service was polite and efficient. |

I too have switched from Lucky's to Grand Hong Kong. The place has a flair of elegance with its tablecloths, padded chairs and background music and a wonderful rest room. The clientele seem to adapt to this elegance by "dressing up" for dinner and not looking like they just came off the farm to chow down. Their vegetable assortment is great. They may need to reduce the chicken variations and add another fish dish, like salmon. Not having been there before the price drop, the current price is attractive. |

My family and I just had dinner at the Grand Hong Kong and we were pleasantly surprised by the courteous hostess. We all decided on the $6.99 buffet and we all agreed that everything we tasted was delicious. They have much more variety that Luck Buffet. The servers kept coming around refilling our water glasses and hot tea & promptly would remove the dishes when we were done & had put them aside. The restaurant is very clean - including the restrooms and neatly decorated. We enjoyed great dinner at an awesome price. This buffet has won us over! :-) |

We went there when it first opened and was very disappointed with the price and the food. We decided to try it again last night because we heard the prices went down and the food was better. The food was great. Much more variety and more food in the pans. The price definitely went down. The only problem I saw was that they offer crab legs on the buffet and I had to ask for some. They did bring them out and they were very hot and good. Will go back again. |

I am so glad that there has a perfect Chinese buffet in palm coast. The food are excellent, the services are nice, everything are fantastic and especially the sanitation and the restroom, they are clean and beautiful.
The price is reasonable now, lunch is $6.99, dinner is $9.99 and they have crab legs and oysters. I know that many buffet had no vegetation, but this one has a lot of vegetable which I think is healthy to me. But even though there has many vegetable, there has chicken and duck and 6 types of soup, the chicken is really really really tasty. The service are wonderful to me, if I order a tea the tea cup will never be empty, they will talk to you with a smiley face always. I like this restaurant, it is my favorite! |

We had heard that they have lowered the prices and the quality of food was better, so we decided to try Grand Hong Kong once more. We visited for lunch and the buffet was only $6.99. The food was plentiful with quite a broad selection of items. A few items were too sweet for my taste and a couple lacked flavor, but overall it was a great improvement and much better value. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and kept clean. |

Surprise, surprise. After all the poor reviews the management must have listened. The prices are right. The service is the best we ever had at a buffet. [every time I used my napkin it was replaced]. My hot tea was always being topped off. The variety was excellent and the quality was good. The restrooms are the cleanest and nicest in Palm Coast.[All new] All of our party was well pleased and will change our allegiance from Lucky to Grand Hong Kong. |

We ate here last night (Tuesday, March 18). This was our third try at this restaurant--first time too expensive, second time food not fresh. However, the buffet is now 11.99 Monday-Thursday. They had crab legs which were excellent. Many other dishes were great--delicately flavored, tender beef dishes, and many other dishes that were excellent. They had ice cream and many different desserts. We were quite pleased and satisfied. It is so nice to go to this buffet, compared to another one in Palm Coast that is not very clean; rest rooms and restaurant here is spotless and nicely decorated. We will be back again. Our server was also very friendly and attentive--she even had a smile on her face which does not happen at the other buffet. |

I had lunch on Saturday. What a turn-around! Lower prices (6.99 lunch buffet per person). Very good selection of dishes, mainly Chinese, some Japanese, at least one Indian. Very good quality, wide variety. The decor, furniture, silverware all above average. Excellent service. Will go here again. |

My husband and I went to Grand Hong Kong tonight and I wish I had read the reviews first. I was shocked at the $18.99 pp buffet. I ordered from the menu, husband did the buffet. Gone are the crab legs, stuffed clams, peel and eat shrimp and round of beef. No more pork chops, or dishes with shrimp. ALL buffet food was cold. I was seated facing the door and 5 different couples/groups walked in, saw the $18.99 price and walked out.
Not sure where the owner came from, but no $18.99 buffet with lousy food is going to last in Palm Coast, no matter how nice the decor is. I miss Marco Polo. |

As soon as we were greeted they pointed out the high price as if to warn us. So, I requested we look at the buffet before accepting a table. The food on the buffet was very scarce with just a very small amount, if any, of each item. Nothing was labeled and it was difficult to know what some items were. We politely declined and left. It appears that this restaurant opened before it was ready and at the high prices they are charging, they should definitely offer a much better and more plentiful selection. |

I agree with others... they have spent a great deal of money and time on the new renovations but the food is totally terrible. All the beuatiful work is useless if the food is going to be this bad. Prices are outrageous too! |

My wife and I love Chinese food and we were really looking forward to this restaurant opening. But now we've tried it we are very disappointed and were not in the least impressed with the very tasteless food. It's a great looking restaurant with awful food. We'll just wait for another one to come along this side of town. |

The buffet was $18 and it was horrible. We were seated, walked up to the buffet and it was bare!! I couldn't of eaten $18 worth of food if I tried. They've done a lot of work on the building and now they need to do some major work on the menu and food. Lucky Buffet is not great, but it beats this place hands down! 1-star for the nice, albeit very embarrassed, server. |

They were obviously not ready to open yet! They have spent a fortune on the decor and paid no attention to the key ingredient... the food! Very little of it. Very dry! Very expensive! Very disappointing! |

My husband and I ate there tonight and our bill came to $45.00. There was hardly any food on the buffet and the food was very cold. The food was also very dry. No ice cream or fortune cookies for desert. The place is clean, but the price is too expensive for what they give you. Will not return to this place. |

Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful restaurant. They have done a great job at renovating the place and it's very impressive as soon as you enter. However, the food is less desirable. There were very few items on the buffet and what was there was dried out and in very small quantities. They didn't have any rice! I know restaurants are typically bad on opening nights, but at $15 I expected more. Service was very friendly though and our server seemed very embarrassed by the lack of food. |
