This place has definitely declined over the past year. It's not very clean, you have to wait longer for buffet food. Just not the same. |

This place has declined to the point where it is no longer worth visiting. On my last visit the buffet was a complete mess. It was dirty and unappetizing. Many of the hot food trays were empty or just had a few old bits at the bottom and the sushi bar only had about six pieces left. The spoons and ladles were all sticky and the floor slippery. I've noticed different management/ownership lately so I assume that is the problem. Another one time reasonable restaurant gone to waste! |

This used to be a very good buffet but the quality, cleanliness and service has declined. I think it may of changed hands but it still ha steh same items on the buffet, they're just no longer as flavorful. It's still better than Marco Polo's but that doesn't say much. |

I agree with others that there has been a definite decline in the quality of food at Lucky's. Service remains quite friendly and efficient, but the food items have become very disappointing and prices are way up there. It's a real shame because we used to enjoy Lucky's and Marco Polo's is no better either. |

When Lucky Buffet opened it was the better of the two Asian buffets in town. Now I cannot even waste my money there. I went on Easter Sunday with my family. The sushi quality has declined considerably. The prices have gone way up too, it cost over twenty dollars for just me and my son. I got the crab legs because usually they are excellent. I don't know what happened this time but they were really cold. I ended up only being able to eat some of their always great green beans and their okay crab in mayo. Everything else was below par. I expect better. I do not think I will go again until I see the reviews get better. |

We have noticed a decline in Lucky Buffet over the past few months. Quality and cleanliness have subsided a great deal and prices have increased. Although it's still the better of the local Chinese buffet's, I'd pick some place better to dine. |

We lived in Texas, North Carolina and South Carolina, but we never ate worse then here. Nothing is fresh. The sushi will stay and be served on the same wooden board for at least that evening, even if it was very dirty. Some of the sushi was very hard already ( old ).... the seafood was overcooked and tasteless and mostly fried anyway. The Asian food was old and cold and the desserts nasty and plates not clean. The ice-cream was hard and very old and I found the service rude and unprofessional as the whole restaurant is dirty. We almost fell because there was grease everywhere on the tiles at the buffet. Do yourself a favor and don't go there! |

My roomie and I ate at Lucky's on our way out of Palm Coast, we both enjoy Chinese food and this had to be one of our favorite places to date. We got there early when they just opened on Sunday and the food was fresh and they had a great selection. The sushi was plentiful and though we didn't try them, there was a ton of crab-legs for the avid crab fan! I am moving to Palm Coast soon and would take friends and family here again. So far there is only one place back at home that we prefer over this one, and that's only because it's HUGE and has an enormous buffet. |

We are disappointed in the quality of food at Lucky's. They serve very salty ham for dinner which is dumb - they should serve roast pork and/or roast beef, or both. When we go there for dinner we don't care to eat sushi everytime even if it is good. Some of the Chinese and Japanese food items are just not well prepared like you get in a regular restaraunt. |

Lucky's must be so named because it's lucky if you get there when the buffet has fresh food on it or not! We have been at times when the buffet is plentiful and fresh, and other times when it's bare and old. Keep with peak times and you'll enjoy it. |

I love this place. Love the variety of Sushi. The vegtables are great. The cold seafood is fresh and there is a lot of "Americanized" food for those who don't like authentic Chinese cuisine. The service is excellent. If I have any criticism it would be they need to upgrade their Soy Sauce to the type used by Publix for their Sushi. It's much more flavorful. I will probably go there once or twice a month just for the Sushi. |

We don't care for ham for dinner, but you can't have everything, and there is a wide variety of other foods from which to choose. The egg fu yung is delicious! The service is excellent and they really try to keep the place clean despite the heavy traffic. We can recommend Lucky's to anyone for an enjoyable dining experience! |

I had to ask for the senior discount but the watress kept it, I will stick with marco polo across the street, I never feel ripped off there. |

lots of things were too dry or tough not again, I will stay with marco polo. |

Lucky is by far my favorite buffet in Palm Coast and one of my favorites around. The good lunch selection surprised me and the dinner offers an excellent variety. The food is not fantastic, but it's as good as can be expected from a Chinese buffet. I must admit, however, that the sushi is what brings me back time after time. I'm a huge sushi fan and I wouldn't be giving the restaurant justice if I didn't say that its sushi is some of the best I've ever tasted. Lucky Buffet gets my two thumbs up.

Palm Coast & Florida residents take so much for granted here, the variety of restaurants, the beauty of the place in general, the lovely canals, palm trees and landscaping, relatively quiet roads and excellent folk in abundance. A great place to live. I have just returned from five months in the Uk and have just woken up to the fact of our great quality of life here. I used to contribute to the usual moans and groans on restaurants but have now matured somewhat and have learn't to appreciate what we have. Today I had the pleasure of visiting Lucky's at midday with my family. My daughter was paying so it all tasted extra special. Food and service was absolutely great, very fast pleasant staff and who worries if they had slight problems over their English, how many of us can speak even one word of Chinese. The atmosphere was relaxing with masses of space, nice seating and soft lighting. The price was a real bargain. My family will make plenty of visits to his excellent establishment in the future and I hope its soon when its my son's turn to pay. |

Have to agree with the majority. The food and ambiance at Luckys is far superior than Marco Polo's. I had the Suchi, which was very fresh and not made ahead of time. Muscles and shrimp also kept cold on ice, the ice was not melted as it is in some places. I feel Marco Polo's is suffering as they are offering 20% discount on their food. Hope Luckys keeps up the good work! |

Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem like Sunday at 4:00 PM would exactly be prime time for diners, so no it doesn't tell me anything. I have been to Lucky's on a number of occasions (albeit lunch only) and it has always been packed with happy diners.
This restaurant is far superior to any other Chinese restaurant in PC, both in quality and variety. I've never had a problem with the service and don't personally find it offensive that people are lacking English skills in an ethnic restaurant. This is a buffet, after all, so service was not my primary concern (buffet...self service...get it?).
I must admit that not everything on the buffet was to my taste, but that's the whole point of a buffet! There is so much good food there that it's hard to come away without being satisfied.
Lastly, I don't see where $10.95 for dinner is such a hardship, but if you think that's too much, go to McDonald's for dinner and do Lucky's for lunch ($5.95...all you can eat, people!)
As for me, I'll be returning to Lucky's on a regular basis. It's the best Chinese food in Palm Coast...outside of my kitchen ;)

My husband and I usually go to Marco Polo's but we heard some good reviews about Lucky Buffet and decided to give it a try.
Thanks but no thanks. We will go back to Marco Polo's. My husband liked the food at Lucky's but prefered Marco Polo's. As for me, the food at Lucky's was either bland or real sweet. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was cold and so was the gravy, even the steamed crab legs were cool to the touch. We were there at 4 PM on a Sunday and the place was empty except for us and 2 other couples. That should tell you something. |

After reading the other reviews about the Lucky Buffet, I was anxious to try it out. However, I was soon disappointed. The price was the most expensive of any buffet I have ever tried, yet the buffet was only half as big as the largest I've seen. Much of the food turned out to be great, but some items were particularly greasy. Also disappointing was the fact that almost none of the employees at Lucky Buffet could communicate sufficiently in English. The waiter asked us "what you want drink?" and a family member replied that we would all ahve water. Oddly enough, the waiter asked me "what you want drink?" and managed to get through point to her using very simple english. You'd think that with all that they charge you, they might be able to send some of the waiters to night shcool or something. All in all, Lucky Buffet served good food, but was too expensive and had poor service. |

I went on a Sunday for lunch so on Sundays your paying dinner pricing. It is a tad pricier than the other new place.
I thought it was good. The Crablegs were fresh and hot. The shrimp was good and fresh. The Lo Mein was good, It actually had flavor. I had chicken terriyaki that was execllent. I thought the Egg Foo Young was GREAT. I would go back just for that. The sushi looked impressive although I don't eat it.
The desserts looked wonderful, although I didn't eat any. My companion said the Tempura vegetables were very good.
I was impressed and will most definately go back.

We went there for lunch on Sunday which means you are paying dinner pricing. It is more expensive than Marco Polo but on the whole I think it is better. The seafood was certainly VERY Fresh. The crab legs were to DIE For.
The lo mein actually had some taste.
I did have some boneless ribs that when I ate them I couldn;t identify them. That was the only bad thing I had.
I don't eat sushi but it did look impressive to me and the people around us seemed to really enjoy it.
The Desserts even looked great.
Everything was easily identified, and that is where Marco Polo lacks a lot. The tempura veggies looked wonderful and although Ididn't have any, my companion did and loved them. I would Most Certainly go back.
The one big difference I notices was the service where this was very good at Lucky Buffet, at Marco Polo it is that much better, your drink is never empty and your plate NEVER sits on your table for more than a minute.
