I brought a friend to Dominic's Deli for lunch. I ordered a To Go sandwich for my boyfriend and then ordered my own food to eat in the restaurant. My friend asked, "Did you order yours To Go?" And I said, "No, just my boyfriend's sandwich." She then ordered her bowl of soup and we went to sit down. Her soup arrived within 5 minutes and I sat waiting and waiting for my order to come up. Finally I went to the counter to ask if the cashier had accidentally put my entire order as To Go. She went to check and told me it wasn't ready. So I went and sat down again and waited. I then decided I should just wait by the counter for my food, while my friend sat by herself eating her soup. 35 minutes later my friend joined me by the counter to wait for my order. I had a very unhappy expression on my face and I could tell the cashier was getting nervous. 45 minutes after I had placed my order the cashier realized that my To Go bag had been sitting by her cash register all along. She tried to give it to me but I had to ask for a manager for my money back. My blood was boiling at that point and all I wanted was to get out of there. The manager returned my money and my friend and I headed over to the far superior Strathmore Bagels. Received excellent service at Strathmore, as always. I won't be returning to Dominic's. |

After many recommendations, we tried today for lunch. For all the people there, the service was fast and very friendly. And the food, excellent. Husband had a cup of the chicken tortilla soup-wonderfully spicy. And we split a corned beef sandwich. Which was smart, since the sandwich was huge and delicious. We will return, as have many of my neighbors, who I saw while we were there. |

I am a chef from NY and this place is great. It is clean, good wholesome food. Nice family that owns it. The owner walks around making sure people are happy. If there is a problem I noticed him doing all he can to make the customer walk out happy with a smile on there face. I can tell you as a chef that there is always the customers that can not be satisfied. I saw a woman in a chicken wing restaurant once pulling out all the veins of every single wing! And complaining as she did this. It's too hot. It's too much food. and on and on. This is a simple deli that is clean.. with nice owners trying to make it in the world by working hard and honestly.. you will be served fresh food.. you will be full for about $8 bucks. I can't see why anyone can complain. |

I met a friend for lunch today and noticed on my receipt that they charged extra for cheese, coleslaw and the bread. I don't get it. What are you paying for...just the meat?
Salad bar looked sad and located in the middle of where people order and sit. Soup was watery. I would suggest going to elsewhere for $9 a sandwich. Need I remind you this is Palm Coast.

I am picky, picky, picky about where I eat. I am Italian (Sicilian) and from NY. I am also very cheep, so when I buy something it better meet my standards or I get real annoyed. I LOVE LOVE this place. I dream of the GIANT sandwiches. My mouth is watering as I write about Dominic's deli. It is family owned and named after the owners son. I arrived at the deli in time to see the little boy who it's named for get a big kiss from his pop before he went to school. And to see how hard this family is working to build this deli, I am telling you this place screams NY in more ways then the food. It brings me back. It is the cleanest deli I ever went to. For the amount of food you get my cheep self finds it a bargain since I get 2 meals out of 1 for $8! It is relatively new and the owner is excited about food and has a lot of plans for new items on the menu. Did I mention they have Jr.'s Cheese cake! JR'S CHEESE CAKE ! FROM NY! I died and went to deli heaven! Love this place, the food, the owners! |

People I'm telling you you cannot compare this place to Strathmore's Bagels.. If you have gone to Dominic's and have not tried Strathmore's please do. They cook their own pastrami and corn beef homemade. I went to Dominic's last week and tried their pastrami sandwich which by the way came with a handful of chips on the side for 8.95 and Strathmore's you get a homemade side salad for the same price. No comparison!! live and learn. |

I just don't understand why one would go for Boar's Head cold cuts to any other place but Publix. To me this is not a real delicatessen. It reminds me of an upscale Subway. I guess to each his own but being from New York, this is certainly not a New York deli. |

This is by far the number one deli in Palm Coast. I actually worked for the deli the first few days it opened and even not being an employee there, I am pleased to be a customer as the food is excellent. I would recommend anyone of their sandwiches, soups, salads and especially the mouthwatering desserts. I love boars head deli meats and you must get like least a pound of meat in your sandwich because it is just huge. i would agree the prices are a bit high, but since i like the quality and quantity, I just close my eyes to it. Service is always pretty fast and friendly staff. Its definitely a great place to go out for an enjoyable lunch in a NY style deli and eatery. Keep it up Dominic's. |

Met my wife at this restaurant for lunch. First time I visited, but she has been there before. Had a Reuben and it was soooo large that my wife and I shared it. It was excellent. The owners are very, very friendly and make you feel like you must return. The place was packed and everyone appeared to be enjoying their meals. Definitely an asset to Palm Coast. Shame it is tucked away, but because the place was so busy people know it exists. I can't wait to go back. Great, Great, Great. |

We went to the Deli about a month or two ago and really enjoyed our meals. It was our first time there and the girl taking the orders was very patient with us and explained a few of the sandwiches to make sure we were ordering what we wanted. As we were eating, the Owner or manager came over and asked how our food was (it was great) and made small talk. We really appreciated the friendly atmosphere and will be back. The cost is a little higher than what I would like to pay on an everyday basis but the special that I got was actually priced decently. Also, I wish they were open for dinner time- several times I've driven by and they've been closed. |

If you are looking for good food and good service you must go to Dominic's Deli & Eatery. This is a family affair - dad and mom - Butch & Debra and son and daughter in law, Pete and Desiree. The atmosphere is pleasant and airy.
You go to the counter and order and pay for the food. Once it is ready, the order is brought to the table. You help yourself to the beverages. I was with my girlfriends, around 11:00 on Sat, Apr 4th. I had a BLT on white toast. The bacon was crispy and piled high. The sandwich came with chips and pickles. The prices were reasonable. My sister, Adrienne, had an egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll with melted provolone cheese. She was very happy with her sandwich.
Peter came over to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. He even gave us tastes of the different delicious soups they serve.
I'm looking forward to my next meal and this time I will have my husband come with me. |

Was OK. The restaurant is clean and bright but the food is just the same deli type food and nothing very interesting. Prices steep, too! I wish Palm Coast would attract more creative places to eat. It gets quite boring with these same old deli and sandwich shops. |

My wife and I try to get away our work at least once a week to have lunch together so this week tried Dominic's. We hadn't been to the new City Walk so didn't know the restaurant existed until we read it on here. We checked out their salad bar but didn't think it was worth the price for what was on it. The salad bar at Sonny's is much better for less money! We each had soup which was good and I ordered a wrap and my wife a deli sandwich. Both were average and lacked any real flavor and were quite dry. I've never been too keen on Boar's Head products and much prefer restaurants that use nice fresh ingredients instead of processed meats. Service was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We liked the "city" deli type atmosphere and prices were a little steep considering other local options. |

I have been meaning to write this for the last month but have been extremely busy. My friends and I were visiting Palm Coast after the holidays for a possible home sale. I liked the town, but... the owner or manager of Dominics should be fired for the way he and she talks to the staff. We went to Dominics two times in day/afternoon hours. One day they were swaring so loud I was embarassed they were using the F-Bomb on a young man whom was extremely courtious just before to us. The next time I went there, some employees wanted their paycheck - and they would not give it to him. How would you like to eat your lunch hearing the man and lady swaring out loud at the staff? We felt so much tension there it totally turned me off. The sandwich was OK - I could go the the supermarket called Publix and get almost the same thing for less money... $8.00 for a sandwich in todays economy..... Never again until I hear that they have learned to talk and treat their employees like humans... I don't need to have a stressful lunch. Now is that the way to treat your customers - next time we are going to Honey Baked Ham or Golden Corral and maybe Larry Giant Subs - Dominic you should be ashamed of yourself! |

Went to Dominic's and found out what everyone is talking about. How clean it is and how fast you get your food and what a great system they have you place your order and they give you a number then your food is brought to your table . No waiting for a server or waiting for a check you are in and out best of all is the food is real good. |

An excellent lunch on Saturday. I understand it can be crowded during the week, but on the weekend we had quick service and a visit from Dominic himself to make sure that we were pleased with our food. The soups were terrific, we had the sweet red pepper and the tortilla, and the sandwiches were definitely over-stuffed. |

Visited for weekday lunch. They were advertising a 24 ft. salad bar but it didn't look too impressive and many items were empty or very low. Settled for a Chicken Ranch Wrap which was quite good but lacked any real flavor. A similar wrap in Publix is larger and cheaper. Service was friendly and the restaurant is clean with a nice atmosphere. |

It was my first time, and I was impressed that the owner spent time with me and insisted that I taste test various items. The potato salad was not like any other I had ever tasted. I had a pastrami Reuben that was hot, piled high (about 3 inches) with meat, and melted in my mouth. I also had the chicken tortilla soup, that was piping hot and all white meat chicken. It was delicious!
There are so many choices and the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food that you get. It was very clean and the employees were very friendly. Palm coast residents give it a try, you won't be disappointed! |

I just don't get it. To me it's a glorified Subway. No big deal. All Boar's head products; like Publix or other delis around and just nothing to write home about. In fact when I went it was pretty messy. The salad bar was messed up and the things behind the counter didn't look too appetizing or homemade. |

We went into Dominic's for the first time after church on Sunday and were treated like royalty. The food was very good.
