Service was good and all staff were friendly. The restaurant is clean and bright and the menu is quite extensive. However, on our visit for breakfast, we found the food to be average at best. The biscuits were very greasy and their gravy was very thick and pasty. Sausage links had no flavor and home fries seemed like they were previously cooked and then reheated. 2 stars for food and 4 for service. |

After reading the other reviews I'm thinking "is this the same place?". We have been going to Bob Evans for about a year now. This place has a great kids menu and affordable. A lot of the food is comfort food but hardly "recycled tv dinners". We usually get good service and friendly waitstaff. I don't recall anyone being rude. It's a good place to go if you want a hot meal for your family. |

Food is OK but the service not so good. Providing it's not too busy, this is a good spot for breakfast but during peak times service and the food suffers. |

Bob Evans can be pretty good for breakfast is you get an efficient server, but for the rest of the day I was not impressed. Service can be poor and food not of the best quality. |

The people that work there are great!! It would be wonderful if all the establishments you went into in Palm Coast were trained this well. Everyone there is so friendly. The food is also terrific. Alan was a pleasure, I will be sure to let everyone know what a great experience we had there. |

This has to be one of the worst dining experiences that I have ever had in Palm Coast and I have had plenty. The waitress acted like she was brainless. The food was cold, missing items, poorly made, and we waited forever. She left dirty plates in front of us the entire time and never asked if we needed anything. We finally piled the plates on another table in frustration. The manager made no attempt to correct her waitressing skills. The best part was when we left and nicely tried to tell yet another moronic girl at the register how bad it was and she just smiled blankly and laughed. "Oh, wow," was her reply. Never, ever, ever, will we go back. This was the 3rd and final try. The food was also HORRIBLE. And we still left a tip out of pity for this poor soul. And the place was not in the least bit busy. |

I have been to this restaurant at least 10 times, at breakfast, lunchtime and for Saturday night snacks. The service has always been good to excellent, the order is always correct, hot (or cold if it's supposed to be) and tasty. I tried this place for the first time after I was told by a Perkins employee they did not want to seat my party because it was 15 minutes to closing on a Saturday night (there were 2 in my party including myself). I am so glad. |

I have not visited this establishment in nearly a year. They have really gotten things in shape. I received a friendly greeting, and was seated quickly, by the manager Allen. He greeted us like we were old friends or family. It was so nice to be welcomed in that manner. That was just the beginning! Our waitress name was Penny. She was remarkable! She was not only very pleasant and friendly, but she was the epedimy of what southern hospitality really is. We loved her, so did the kids! She was very busy, but still had the time to make each and every one of us feel like we were the most important people in the restaurant. She suggested the turkey, which was really "home made".The potato soup was very good, and we didn't have room for dessert, but she sold us a pie to take home. Allen stopped by our table, twice, and we really felt like this was a place that will become our new spot to eat The restrooms were clean, and they had a clean baby changing table, which was nice, a lot of places in Palm Coast don't have them, or if they do, they are dirty.
As we left, Callie the cashier was very friendly, and Allen gave us a To-go menu for my wife and I to take to work, and a Bob Evans magnet for our fridge. Thanks Penny, Allen and Callie... You will see us very soon. |

Keep up the good work as the service and food have greatly improved. When you get good service and the food is brought out hot, it is only a plus for the restaurant. I had NO problems in getting a refill for my soda. Thank you. |

WOW! What a pleasant surprise! I, like many, have frequented this restaurant in the past, and it wasn't anything good.
They have a new manager, and it shows! The service was fast and friendly! the food was EXCELLENT! The whole experience of dining here has changed.
I am sure it must be very difficult for a new manager to go into a restaurant like this one, a restaurant that has gotten off initially on a bad foot. I recommend going and trying again, its GREATLY IMPROVED! They all seemed to be working VERY HARD to do things right! KUDOS to this new beginning! |

I recently tried this restraunt for the first time since they opened. I was really surprised how good the food was. I had a hot open turkey plate that was as good as any home cooked turkey. AND yes, it was real turkey. Very tender and all whie meat with mashed potatos, gravy and fresh cranberries. The managers were making sure the servers were being attentive. I had no problem with service (my servers name was Kelley) os the food. I would tell all who might have not been satisfied to try again. |

Cycle Girl must have taken her very negative attitude into the restaurant with her as nothing would please her. We have been to Bob Evans very often (probably an average of once per week)since they opened and have never had a complaint about the food nor the service. It is a very welcome place to eat good food, have good service, and friendly employees. |

I hadn't been in since May but thought I would try again. I didn't receive what was ordered, couldn't get refills, staff and food still well below Perkins and Cracker Barrel. This will probably be my last visit unless I hear of some major changes. |

I am very surprised at the negative reviews. I have gone there at least once a week since they opened and the food was always excellent. Salads are amazing. The waitstaff is mostly friendly. Yes, many are inexperienced. There are only so many experienced kids to hire around here. But they try, and quickly correct any mistakes. Other than having to ask for bread, I have never had a meal come out any way other than what I ordered, hot, fresh and sufficient. |

My most recent visit will probably be my last. Refills had to be asked for several times and the order was messed up AGAIN. As others have said, the service is a "who cares" attitude. The atmosphere is good but again it's a NEW restaurant. The portions are very small and food doesn't taste any better than anywhere else. Very disapointed. |

I have been in 3 times since they opened, we have never gotten what we ordered, the coffee is luke warm if you can even get a refill, the service is slow, last time a server from across the room finally came and waited on us after we had waited for over 15 minutes( and they were not busy) I don't think we were in her station. I will continue to go to Perkins as will most people I have talked to. |

A new resturant with growing pains, however the food is a bad experience. Undercooked chicken and cold hamburgers/fries. The verdict is still out on this new restuarant until it can refine its presentation and cooking abilities. |

My husband and I went on a Friday night of course there was a wait but it is expected after all there is only 4 resturants in the city. We were greeted and sat the wait staff was polite and attended to our needs. The food was wonderful. We returned the following Sat. and everything was as it was the first time. We have a new resturant. |

Well we decided to visit for a nice tall glass of iced tea at the food bar. The tea was warm with hardly any ice. My girlfriends flavored tea was bitter and was not at all like the Bob Evans in Daytona. As we sat at the bar a group of young servers complaind about their work duities right in front of us in view of all the customers waiting to be seated. I think some older more experienced servers are needed to balance this place out. The staff was too inexperienced. The Manager blurted out loud to one of his co-workers that they should go outside for a smoke to talk about something. That to me is not exceptable. As we went to pay, one of the young empoyees was very short and sassy at the checkout booth. She was short, and with a smart-alick tone questioned what was clearly a zero on the credit card check that we wrote. I think we will give this place a few months to get in the right groove of things before we go back. |

I hope this place is just suffering from the opening blues as it really is poor. Like with Elaine missing items below, my chicken salad had no chicken. It took forever for the server to come back so i could tell her, and although she corrected it the rest of my party had completed their meals before I got mine. We had to return to work so I left without eating much. |

We had a long wait for lunch as is typical with any new local restaurants opening. Once seated, all staff were very pleasant and I was suprised at the varied menu. I thought Bob Evans was mostly "down home country" style cooking, but it's not. Food arrived quite quickly and was hot and tasted very good. Bob Evans is a very welcomed establishment for Palm Coast. |
