I am very happy with the service at this Denny's! The daytime staff there seems to enjoy their jobs and gave me and my family GREAT service!!! The food was also great and not bad prices. I will definitely go back! |

We will not go to this Dennys again. The place is always filthy---junk on the floor and the bathrooms wreak! How can you trust the food when the rest of the place is so dirty?? We have also walked out once after being ignored for 10 minutes by the waitress. We like the one in Ormond Beach much better. In Palm Coast, go to Perkins instead--you will find much better employees, service, and food. |

This Denny's is horrible. I recently went there with my Mom and the waffles that I ordered were cold and barely cooked. I sent my order back. They forgot to give my Mom toast and she asked for rye toast and they gave her white. Our waitress never even checked on us to see how our food was. We had to go up to her and give my waffles back. Plus this Denny's doesn't even have chocolate chips or something that people sometimes I put in my pancakes. Half of there food is very cold. Since our food came out very fast that means that really didn't cook it. We left the waitress a $3 tip. The money you pay for the food there definitely isn't worth it. That's why you should just go to the Perkins that's down the road. I am never going to that Denny's again. |

The food here is generally good, though the place can be a bit cold at times. Usually stays clean, and they now have new management which has made a big difference. As long as my two favorite servers don't leave, Jake & Rebecca, I will continue to go there. I wish they would bring back the Breakfast Bowls. Those were great! |

Staff here have always had a problem with cleanliness. The booths are dirty and greasy although it was remodeled a couple of years ago it's already showing the signs of not being cared for. I always worry about public areas not being kept up as I wonder what the areas we don't have access must be like. |

The food is usually quite good and the service is typically quite attentive, but this restaurant seems to be getting dirtier. Every time we go we notice a decline in cleanliness from the time before. The place needs a good clean and degreasing. |

Went there for a late night meal since we picked up family at OIA and everything was perfect. The service was excellent, food was prepared lighting fast and cooked to perfection!! It was probably the best Denny's experience I have had in years. Restaurant was very clean as well. Good Job! |

The food and service was excellent, but the only thing preventing me from giving this store an excellent rating is the management. While my wife and I were eating breakfast, I over heard the manager talk very rudely to one of her employees and then when I went to pay for my meal, she barely acknowledged me because she was too busy talking on the phone. |

Don't expect to get what you order!!! They are always out of something. They don't let you know when you order that they are out of it... they wait until the rest of your party has their food. And if the wait staff isn't arguing about something, they are either eating their own food, or out back smoking. It takes an act of congress just to get someone to seat you, and take your drink order. Worst service I've ever had. This wasn't my first time.. or second.. or even third. Yes..I am stupid for going back again, and again. I thought it would get better at some point. Word to the wise: YOU CAN'T TEACH AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS. And to Denny's: Hire some motivated people to do your business. You'd make more money! |

I currently am employed by this restaurant. The poor/negative reviews throw me. I think what Palm Coast wants is impossible. They want more than their paying for. Have worked at many restaurants, never heard such uncalled for complaining. I think the staff tries. Its hard when, (a problem of the area all face) to get people work. The management does try to do the best with the talent they employ. I have always been a fan of Denny's --- even through rough times. Please, try it again!!! |

After having eaten here several times over the past couple months, my wife and I can recommend this place. It is clean, the staff is friendly and efficient although it can be hectic at peak hours. The menu is good, the prices reasonable. The new management has made Denny's a pleasant place to eat now. |

I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 10 YEARS AND ALL I HAVE HEARED IS HOW DENNYS IS GOING TO REMODEL AND IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP, WELL ITS STILL THE SAME OLD THING, MOLD AND WATER STAINS ON WALLS. I feel I can upgrade my rating on Denny's. It has really cleaned up its act and they are going to do major renovation soon. The food and service is fine, menu selection is varied, and prices are very reasonable. The place is kept clean. The staff is friendly. |

We went for lunch the other day and was very dissapointed with the quality of the food and service. I had a Chicken Ranch Melt sandwich and my husband had a Mushroom Swiss Burger. Both had stale bread and the fries were very old and rock hard. The mushrooms on my husbands burger looked and tatsed like they had been re-cooked for the last 5 days. Service was poor and we had to keep trying to get the waitresses attention. Coffee was also very old. The building felt greasy and dirty and there was a huge mess of old food under our table. |

It is hard to imagine that a nationwide chain could allow such a disgusting atmosphere. Utter filth and the ceilings are in near danger of collapse besides. We did try breakfast anyway, and after 45 minutes and a number of queries, the waitress was able to convince the manager that there was a problem -- so in 10 more minutes we received breakfast "on the house". But no apology from the manager. And there will be no return by us until there is new management and a remodeled facility. |

The last time I was there which was in July, I did NOT get value for my dollar. The staff works hard; I have no quarrel with them. My quarrel is with the management and cleanliness and value recieved.
When I complained about portion size (and the the portion size has become smaller and smaller over the past couple years, and the prices have gone up), the manager told me in no uncertain terms I was wrong and she was right and there wasn't anything to be done about it. Well, I wasn't looking for a handout -- I pay for the food I eat, and I tip the server when deserved.
But I cannot eat there until the place is refurbished completely and the 18+ years of dirt and dust have been cleaned out, the carpet replaced, the ceiling replaced, the walls scrubbed and painted or papered.
I don't want to see a waitress sweeping up the floor, picking up a jelly package and throwing it back into the jelly package bin to be put on somebody else's plate. I don't want to worry about something falling off the ceiling into my food. I want the place to smell clean(er).
When the order says "three slices of bacon," I don't want to see three almost transparent shriveled up little pieces of overcooked bacon on my plate, each piece smaller than the other. I want LARGE EGGS or even EXTRA LARGE eggs on my order.
Compare the meals served at Denny's to those served at the Cracker Barrel, or even at Perkins, and you will know immediately what I'm talking about. And all the toast they serve at Denny's tasts the same regardless of what type of bread you order.
When Denny's measures up to Cracker Barrel and Perkins, I will eat there again from time to time. Until then, forget my business.
And for a Denny's manager or employee to post here and give themselves 5-stars is the height of hypocrisy. |

We all need to realize this store is 18+ years old. Management IS working on the issues people have stated, but it hasn't happened overnight! If anyone has ANY problems he/she should immediately notify the manager on duty and the concern WILL be addressed immediately. All of us at YOUR neighborhood Denny's are commited to toal customer satisfaction. I have to say this is the last restaurant I would frequent in PC. Appears filthy when you walk in. Two weeks ago I was there about 11:30 on a Fri Night and foyer area smelled like urine. Nasty. The server was a young kid and he was wonderful though. |

Denny's may have very good food but poor service staffs. I ate lunch there one time and my waitress was so dirty. She was giving out the food with the lettuce on her thumb and dirty nails. I was looking at my next table who was eating her salad and the waitress has the lettuce on her thumb that made me wanted to throw up. Yuck. She even scatched her hair and bited her nails when she had nothing to do. I felt so disgusting to eat there. |

The service is good. The food is also good everything considered. The portion sizes have been downsized, but the prices have not. The entire place needs remodeling. When I look at the ceiling, it gives me a queasy feeling that something cruddy is falling down into my food. The place is just not kept clean enough. I wonder how long this Denny's will stay in business before being forced to sell or remodel, and change its ways on food portions vs. prices. |

Service was very good. It was about 9 pm when we went so it was slow. The food was good not excellent but about what you would expect. The resturant was clean but could definatly use a remodel. Everyone was friendly. It is a nice neighboorhood joint. |

Went to Dennys yesterday for lunch with a friend. Got there at 11. I was amazed at the people waiting. We placed our name on the list and waited about 10 mins. We both had breakfast. I would have preferred a little more corned beef hash on the corned beef hash slam. The food was good, The service was pretty good. Our waitress (as they all were) was swamped.
It was ok, I would prefer to be there when it is less busy but that was my only complaint. All restaurants should have that trouble.

Had the grand slam breakfast this morning. Satisfied with it, and the service was just fine. Prices and menu selection suits me, and the place was pretty clean. I sat at the counter so I also could see behind the counter, and I didn't think it was dirty. The manager didn't seek me out, but that doesn't bother me... if I have a complaint, I will seek out the manager myself. Works for me.

Have eaten there a couple times just recently and found lots of improvement. The food was good, servings generous, service just fine, good menu, the place was clean, prices reaonable. I eat at different places here in P.C., and I think Denny's is a good place to eat. |

I have read alot of the comments on Denny's and I regularly visit there often and enjoy the food and quality of service that is provided by the servers. They are pleasant women and work very hard for their tips and only making alittle more than two dollars an hour and put up with alot of complaining from the patrons. It is a shame that an egg breakfast that they are not satisfied with will spoil their whole day and are nasty to the servers. They do not cook the food! And do not work in the best environment. You'll see for yourself if you visit the restaurant. The ceiling is atrocious to say the least and the whole place is overdue for remodling. People do not realize the problems that Denny's has gone through with the prior owners filling bankruptsy and a new company taking over and making new changes. If your not happy, don't go back but I'm sure the complainers will and will continue to complain. If you go there during the day I'm sure you will see that these women do care and are pleasant and work hard to give good service. Take a look though if you do visit. Do you see a manager or get a visit from a manager at your table asking how your visit was. The managerial staff is in need of great improvement not only in how they deal with patron but how they treat their servers as well. Remember treat your server with with respect and patience but if you have a complaint let them know or ask to see the manager. These women work hard for very little and deserve some respect. |

The servers don't seem to care, I see that the food inspectors must have fixed the toaster problem, because the toast now comes out of the kitchen. It was freezing cold inside and the server said that they could never touch the thermostat and so it is always cold in the restaurant. It seems that management should care more about the comfort of their patrons. |

I have been a long time visiter of Denny's restaurant and have noticed that the service has seemed to have gotten worse and worse. The food has always been reasonable and there is nothing better at 4am, but as for service I think that better pickings of waitresses could be nice. |

Denny's has become a slop-house. Food used to be good for a diner but it's declined dramatically lately. I've had stale bread and even mouldy food once. Service was slow, tables greasy, and coffee tasted about a day old. I'll choose Perkins from now on. |

"Don't eat the toast"! It is disgusting how the servers clear tables of dirty dishes, make money change to patrons since they don't have a cashier, wash the counters & tables with dirty rags.....and then make toast without washing their hands or using plastic gloves. You would NOT get me to try the toast! I can not imagine the Health Department giving them good marks on this! A few of the day servers have bad attitudes & have no respect for each other. Food sometimes okay & sometimes not. |

My wife and I had an early Seniors breakfast recently and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were speedily seated and served and we had no complaints whatsoever. I have always liked the seating in Denny's and in one of the corner booths one can enjoy the meal and observe the activity. The coffee refills were numerous. (Try asking for coffee refills in Europe and see what happens). A special thank you to the pleasant staff who served us. |

Occaisonally I get a good server and the food isn't too bad. But other times I get such bad service and the food is terrible. I've eaten here when there's only been a couple of other customers and it took FOREVER for the food to arrive, and other times it was packed and the food was quick. |

Usually Denny's seemed to be pretty good. I had eaten there numerous times. But, as of lately, the service has been awful. This particular time we went in to a restaurant that wasn't even 1/2 filled with patrons. I still had to wait about 5 minutes just to be seated. Our waiter took our orders and again we proceeded to wait. It took another 5 minutes at least just to get our drinks (4 sodas). Okay, 30 minutes later we got our lunch. Well everyone but me. They kept saying that my order was coming and the corn that came with one of our guests' meal would also be right out. I waited another 30 minutes for my meal (everyone else was now done in our group) and then it turned out to be the wrong thing. I ordered a bacon cheddar cheeseburger and after an hour wait, got a buffalo burger. Also, the corn that came with the other meal came out at this time (though they were carrots instead). I couldn't believe we spent an hour and a half to grab a quick lunch. Needless to say I won't be going again. It's no coincidence that about 3 weeks prior we had a similar experience for breakfast. |

As the day goes on this place gets worse! I go for breakfast and the service and food is good. For lunch they seem more disorganized and food quality and service goes down, and for dinner... both are simply very poor, and then for late nite meals it is absolutely awful. |
