I stop in here every time I visit my family in Daytona. The food is great and the waitresses I've had have all been really friendly and good. Ice cream could be better but otherwise you just can't beat the quality for the price you pay. Decor is a lot nicer than a typical buffet. |

Why is it that there are those that live in Palm Coast eat here, and yet complain?
The three that I read, I say this; If you don't like the place, then stay the h*** away !
I drive from Port Orange about two-four times a month, I know what the place serves, and it's my choice. I have always found the food to be cooked, tasty, and well displayed |

As Golden Corrals go, this is one of the nicest ones we have been in. We were there on a Sunday afternoon so it was pretty busy, but not so bad that you couldn't get to the food. We go down to Florida a couple times a year and we'll definitely stop back in the next time we come down. We're still waiting on getting one of these in Buffalo. |

One of my favorite places to eat in Palm Coast. Good choices of food and excellent rolls... desserts needed more of a variety... then again those do put pounds on me, soooo! And if ever you don't like something you talk to the manager who will help out. |

Horrible! I walked around trying to find something to put on my plate but everything seemed very unappealing. It was all mixed up and a lot looked very dry and old. I'd rather go to a nice restaurant, sit and be served a nice fresh meal than eat this stuff. |

Food was lousy, very poor quality, desserts are too sweet and one can tell it is all fake cream. I will never go back again. I'm not too happy about picking over food that's been picked over by many others, either. I saw people lick their fingers and then pick up serving spoons with said hand. Gross. |

I don't want to be considered a food snob, but this was my first experience in a restaurant like this! We paid to have lunch here and after being seated proceeded to the buffet, but I just couldn't find anything that I found appetizing. I chose some fried chicken but that was very dry and hard. I also tried some Chinese style chicken that was virtually tasteless and all rice and vegetables sampled were over cooked. Pre-made burgers had definitely been sitting a long time! Salad was wilted and/or turning brown and deserts were like canned filling with aerosol cream. Even the bread rolls were soggy! One star for attentive and friendly service. |

My family has dined at the Golden Corral for over 8 months now and enjoy it every time. The servers, management and the owner know me and my wife by name now. And I must say at 73 years old I have never met an owner and management team that have the morals and standards that they have in many years. I had to post this after reading the post by tom. I have been around the block a few times and it sure sounds like a former employee stirring the kettle. Golden Corral is a great place to eat at a very good price, especially for someone on a fixed income. Me and Verna will be dining here for many years to come, God willing. |

I have to say that I have been a regular to Golden Corral since they opened last year and I am always impressed with their food and cleanliness. The food is always fresh and hot and there is always a great variety. I have read the past several reviews and I have never seen any bugs in Golden Corral. This place is kept very clean, and the management staff is very courteous and willing to help if you let them know of any concerns. I would recommended this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great value and good home cooked food. |

Tried this place twice now and no more. I find the food to be mainly tasteless and all meats low grade cuts. Vegetables are way too over cooked soaking in over salted water and even the salad doesn't taste right! Deserts are mostly fake cream and are very sweet. |

One word... Disgusting. I took my kids there last night for our first time. The only thing that was descent was the desert bar. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! If you're going to spend about $13.00 to eat, you're better off going somewhere where you're guaranteed good food. The food was horrible, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I was truly amazed on how they looked. There’s no way that they got that dirty in one day! The service wasn’t all that great either. My daughter needed a refill, we waited and waited as I saw my server in the server area just texting on her phone the whole time!! Also while walking through the overly-crowded area, there were roaches crawling on the floor!! I completely lost my appetite and left! It’s only a matter of time before the roaches start crawling into the food! |

We go to Golden Corral more for the wide selection of food than the quality of the food. There are some items that are good and many are bland. The dining room is poorly designed for the continuous traffic, as mentioned. But I always come away full, and satisfied with the value. What I want to mention is the cockroaches we saw when dining there a couple of weeks ago. Some diners near our table were against the wall, and I saw at least three roaches walking on the wall and blinds by their table. One walked on a lady's arm while she was eating! I was already done eating at that point, otherwise I don't think I would have eaten any more. I don't know if most restaurants around here have that problem, in the year and a half that I've lived in Florida this is the first I've seen roaches in a restaurant dining room. |

Golden Corral in Palm Coast is an embarrassment to our community. It should be considered more as a human trough than a restaurant. While the wait staff are mostly on the young side they are more than courteous and efficient which is more than can be said for the so called "proprietor". He is rude, full of himself and comes off as unprofessional. Although Golden Corral is a family restaurant, I have to wonder if it is necessary for his children to run amuck so frequently and noticeably. The behavior I had witnessed from them and him on the few occasions that I was somehow talked into even going there was a real eye opener. He is rude, demeaning and threatening to his staff. Perhaps he should use such stern tactics with his own family? There are quite a few restaurants in this area that offer great food, reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere that have been and will be in business long after Golden Corral is sent to pasture. |

This was my first time here and the food was horrible. The food was tasteless and greasy. You have to wait in a long backed up line for steak when it is busy, and the steak was tough. After waiting in a long line for your steak, the rest of your food is cold by the time you get back to your seat. I have never eaten at a buffet where all of the cooked food tasted the same. {Bland} It tasted as if they use the same oil over and over for their fried foods. I would not recommend is so called restaurant to anyone. There are much better restaurants in the Palm Coast area. |

We did not enjoy this place for lunch or dinner. We found the food to be bland and not good quality. However, we recently visited for breakfast and found it to be quite good. They needed more baked goods such as croissants and less deserts for breakfast, and I would of liked to of seen the buffet area was kept cleaner. But overall, it was a good breakfast with pleasant service at a very reasonable price. |

Have you seen the name of the restaurant? For those of you looking for gourmet fabulous food, don't go here. It is what it is. The food is decent, nice salad bar and dessert bar, fairly clean and the wait staff is mostly friendly. It's quick and you can be in and out if you want. Wouldn't want to eat here everyday but I can feed my family of four and not go broke. A welcome addition to Palm Coast. |

One word: gross! The food was basically only fried dishes. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired and whomever designed the dining room should be shot, but there is no flow at all! It is similar to 5pm traffic when you go up to get your food.
The food tasted like nothing. I highly suggest that for those of you who enjoy food and like a pleasant dining experience, that you avoid this place! |

The name fits the place. The atmosphere is unpleasant. Waiting in those lines, you are just like cattle. By the time you get to the guy cooking the steak or whatever he is fixing, he doesn't have any more and you give up. The food, mass produced and sitting around all the time, all tastes the same. The salad section is quite good, and the dessert area as well. But the central section with the main and most popular foods needs a vast improvement. It isn't that cheap either. So why bother? |

However, I enjoy the ride to Palm Coast and it is well worth it. The only issue I had is with the waiters/waitresses, they move a little bit too slow for me. |

This is a nice place to dine if you want some good old-fashioned home-style cooking. There's lots of choices, including a well stocked salad bar and lots of hot dishes. We like the rotisserie chicken, real mashed potatoes, fresh baked rolls and the assortment of vegetables. The service has always been pleasant. Bring your appetite! |

Unfortunately, I find nothing endearing about this restaurant at all. The restaurant itself feels very cramped and crowded and is not very relaxing or comfortable. You have to eat from colored plastic plates and bowls that make you feel like you're at a children's party. The food is very low rate. Most was dry and either had no flavor or a very strange flavor. Entree's reminded of me making something very limited and bland so your kids will eat it! Salad bar was old with most items missing. Bread rolls were soggy as if they had been soaked in grease. Vegetable were so over cooked they had lost all color - Brussels sprouts were very pale green and like mush. Desert bar is basically made up of different colored pies of very sweet filling and imitation cream. Judging by the colored plastic plates and the type of food, I would guess this restaurant is catering to young children. For adults, there are some much better choices in Palm Coast than Golden Corral. 1 star awarded only for the friendly and helpful girl at the front counter. |

I know many people enjoy this place, but after my second visit I still see nothing good about it! Everything I had was terrible... the pork chops were like shoe soles, roasted chicken was very salty and slimy, the Asian dishes were too sweet with no flavor, vegetables were way over cooked and just about everything else I tried was either wilted, dry or over seasoned. Even the ice cream was flavorless and not creamy at all. Of the dinner buffet and drink coming to over $12 I could have a much better meal elsewhere. I agree with what others have said, this is quantity over quality! |

Just took my family for breakfast and they had a great selection. I did not know where to start. My wife had a fresh made omelet and the kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes. I myself had the chipped beef which I have not had since I was a kid. what a treat. Definitely worth it, much better than going to Denny's or Perkins. |

We found the food at Golden Corral to be very average. It is quite well presented and displayed, but some of the selections do need to be labeled. The dining areas are not very comfortable and service is sparse. I did enjoy a couple of the items but most were just low grade meats. I'd rather spend my money on someplace a little less like a cattle feed and more civilized. |

This place seems to be the culinary version of being a jack of all trades and master of none. Their Asian selections don't compare to the food at local Asian restaurants and their Mexican items are not as good as Taco Bell's. BBQ, steaks, and other entrees are very mediocre. Also, vegetables were overcooked and with them swimming in water made them very mushy. This is quantity over quality and I'm sure it will remain a popular dining choice for those on a budget. |

Sorry, but not very impressed at all with Golden Corral. The seating is very on top of each other and when you first enter you have to walk around with your drinks tray looking for a clean table. The food is plentiful, nearly everything I had needed seasoning and was not very flavorful. Servers were gathering to chat where I had to get back to my table and I had to keep asking them to move. Service and drink refills were slow. The price is cheap so I didn't have too high expectations, but I would rather see less items on the buffet that were of better quality. |

This is a nice restaurant with a lot of selections on the buffet. It's not the best quality but it's plentiful and more than good value at only $7.99 for lunch. I was disappointed with the desert bar as nothing tasted like it looked. The rolls were also very soggy like they were soaked in grease. |

No surprises here! This is mass feeding of low-mid quality food in a mega buffet style. The salad bar was quite good but most of the entree selections were like cans emptied on the buffet. Lots of fried items like fish and okra plus the vegetables were over cooked and almost flavorless. Desert bar was OK. Soft serve tasted like water! Service was slow but the restaurant was packed and new. |
