This restaurant is one of my favorite places. It is simply delightful. I feel as though I have stepped into an actual tea house in England. I've eaten there twice now, and I am always delighted to recommend it to friends. The food is very good and well prepared, the staff is very attentive, the portions are good and the prices are fair. The table settings are always very attractive. The owners are warm and friendly. This is a restaurant that would be fun to dress up and go to on your birthday or anniversary. The store which is adjacent to the restaurant is also very fun. |

My husband and I were visiting friends in Palm Coast when we decided to try this lovely restaurant. The service, the staff and the food were all excellent. We also picked out some extraordinary teacups from their gift shop, which they shipped to our home in Pennsylvania (avoided the worry of carrying them on the plane).
This shop and the surrounding shopping area are delightful. It's worth spending some time wandering through the other shops after your meal. |

I went to Shakespeare's two times last month with friends. The service was excellent. The sandwiches, scones, tea, and sweets were very tasty. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes you want to linger and talk with friends over endless cups of tea. I will return and suggest to my friends that they try this restaurant. |

I went there yesterday with a friend for lunch. The whole experience was perfect. I had the quiche (bacon and spinach) which was delicious. Love the way the dressing for the salad was on the side so I could chose how much to use. The trifle was so good I am sorry my friend and I had decided to share it. Manager Tracey was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back for the three tier entree, it looked sooooo goooooood. Definitely a wonderful dining experience. |

My two sisters and I had a tea-liteful afternoon tea and enjoyed the food on our 3 tiered trays. The only complaint I would have with this establishment was the selection of teas available for the afternoon. We only could select from about 5 varieties. And you paid extra for something not included in the Afternoon Tea selected luncheon. We could only pick one for the price of the afternoon tea trays. I like to try a couple of teas with my luncheon - but had to settle on one tea - which was the House brand and was quite delicious. All in all a beautiful place, nice gift shop too. |

I went to Shakespeare's Fine English Tea Room this passed Saturday with my sister for lunch. I really enjoyed myself, place is really clean and very cozy!! The food was excellent. My sister always have the 3 tier that includes the scones, sandwiches and yummy desserts. I had it and boy it was GOOD. Next time I'm in Palm Coast in 15 days. I'm going to see if my sister and mother want to go back there!

I love Shakespeare's! I think what I like most about it is the feeling you get of being someplace other than Palm Coast. It's decor, service and food are not like anywhere else in town and all are very good. Their high tea is a decadent treat! |

When my mom visits me in Palm Coast, Shakespeare's is the first place she likes to visit. Their high teas are wonderful with a wicked selection of pastries, cakes and finger sandwiches. The attached store is fun to browse, too. |

I had High Tea with 9 other Red Hatters this afternoon. Service was excellent. The tea sandwiches, scones, petit fours, salad, fruit cup etc. was absolutely divine. Each of us had our own 3 tier serving tray with all these delicacies. None of us could finish everything. This is a treasure not to be missed. |

I really like Shakespeare's for its calmness and touch of class. However, as of late, they are often out of most items on the menu. Yesterday I asked for quiche and they said it wouldn't be ready for another 40 minutes. Previously it was Shepherds Pie. To their credit, the salad I ordered as an alternative was excellent and came with many types of cheese. I just wish the availability of menu items was better. |

From the first minute that we entered Shakespeare's, we knew we were onto a winner. The welcome by the staff and the lovely ambiance created by the decor and gift shop, filled with British goodies, persuaded us immediately that we had found a wonderful spot to have lunch. I am English born and bred and both my American husband and son have enjoyed the joys of true pots of English tea and scones over the years. Shakespeare not only does authentic English afternoon teas but serves a variety of other English delicacies, perfectly cooked. The staff also were very attentive of us and our baby granddaughter's needs.
Apart from the wonderful food and service, check out the shop. England has always been known for its production of fine quality items and Shakespeare's has an excellent inventory for customers to peruse. |

Shakespeare's is nicely located at the European Village. Inside is very elegant and sophisticated with discrete but friendly service. This is not a restaurant to visit for a meal but a place to sit and enjoy tea or coffee on fine china accompanied by finger sandwiches, scones with cream, petifors, etc. Go to escape a typical Florida afternoon. |

My husband and I had lunch here and found it to be really delightful! The tables were set with china and fresh flowers on tablecloths which reminded me of English Tea Rooms we had visited in London. This is a VERY upscale place perfect for a birthday lunch or tea. We both had the Welsh Rarebit which was excellent- the tea came in a little pot and they have sparkling flavored water too. Our salad was crisp and fresh. The waitress was attentive and dressed in black with a little white apron. The best part of the meal were the "biscuits" about 5 or 6 little cookies and cakes each was a morsel of sweetness to die for!! Can't wait to try Shakespear's for Afternoon Tea...do go! I want this place to make it here, as it is a real gem! |
