Regarding the "old man" at the door, someone must have sent him to charm school. He definitely has changed his attitude. He was so accommodating this time. We had been there previously and decided, the food is good, we like ANDY, but, the "old man" was a turnoff to wanting to go there again. Decided to give it one more chance. GLAD we did. |

The food at this restaurant was very good, service was excellent, prices were in line with the food quality. The only exception is the dessert; I feel that $6 per slice is a bit much for plain cheesecake. Would definitely eat here again! |

Called Pasta Pasta last Monday night to see if they were open for dinner since it was a Monday night and many restaurants are closed that day. The gentleman that answered was extremely polite and when I asked if they were still open to serve dinner since it was nearly 8 pm, his reply was that we usually close between 8-8:30 but will stay open for us. We arrived within 15 minutes, and was greeted warmly. Service was very good, the food was delicious and we were not rushed at all. This was our 1st time at the new location but had dined at the old location last year when we were down to visit family. Once we relocate permanently to PC, Pasta Pasta will definitely be one of our regular places to dine at! |

Not fantastic Italian food but it is very good. They clearly take pride in providing good service and delivering good quality food. Their menu has many tempting selections and everything I've had from it so far has been tasty. Although I have noticed that their portion sizes seem to of gotten smaller and their prices have gone up lately! Tiramisu also lacked alcohol such as marsala, brandy or sherry to be authentic! Overall though, we never leave Pasta Pasta unsatisfied. |

I absolutely love Pasta Pasta! No matter what you order, it's always delicious!! The staff is always friendly and pleasant and go out of their way to make your dining experience the best it can be. I look forward to the chef coming out of the kitchen to say Hi and ask if everything was delicious - like it could be anything else! He's always a delight.
I look for excuses to drive from Orlando to Palm Coast so that I can enjoy dinner at Pasta Pasta! We love you guys. Keep up the great work. And we'll see you soon for dinner! |

We went to Pasta Pasta the other night for a dinner. Halfway through our dinner, the chef came by the table to say hello. Wow, a quick stop by the table became a 20 minute lecture on how to do business right. I know all about his previous businesses and another friend's business in Texas. All I wanted was to eat my dinner. Of course, when someone is standing there talking - it is hard to eat. As he was talking - I looked down and it was then I noticed my sauce starting to separate and realized it was mostly butter and really wasn't that great of a dish. He finished talking and the server came over and asked if I wanted a to go box since I didn't finish my meal. I didn't. |

I really would have given a better rating (at least a 3 star) had it not been for several factors.... one is the lack of hospitality as you first enter (need someone with a personality and some kindness) and the portions are too "small "for the price. Food flavor is average. The decor is nice and the location is good. Might try one more time. |

Not sure why the hype. Guest host is not nice and has a nasty grin each time we arrive and if we do not have reservations.... like a felony! Food portions are getting smaller, my hubby was starving and ate off of mine. They need to work on things! My food was not great! |

OK, I really like chef/owner Andy. I think his food is very good and he's definitely talented in the kitchen. However, I think he lacks skills with his business policies. I know for fact that he has received many complaints about how the older man that greets customers but he fails to acknowledge the problem. I guess as long as the place is full he is happy. But I. like many, are not happy! The older gent is rude and very demeaning and as a long time customer, I will no longer be returning to Pasta Pasta. In the past I have seen this greeter be rude to other customers and on my past two visits, experienced the same first hand. I fully understand reservation systems, but I do not understand being undermined or completely "snubbed" for not having one. What is wrong with at least being polite and maybe giving me a card and recommending me to call next time? Sorry I'm rambling here, but this gent has made me angry and it has cost Pasta Pasta a once very loyal customer. |

Amazing, the last review was exactly what I was going to write. Greeted at the door by a gentleman asking, "Do you have a reservation?" Not, "Good evening," first or anything.
We were also told that they were booked despite having 6 empty tables (yes, we counted), and it was later on a Tuesday night. It makes you wonder if they really only want reservations and not walk-ins.
After being told we couldn't be seated, the man offered no apologies, just walked away. We ended up going elsewhere for dinner where we were greeted more cheerfully.
The only reason this is getting 2 stars is that I know the quality of food because we have had it before. But, after the way we were greeted, not sure we will go back, even if the food was good. |

I have been to Pasta Pasta at the prior location in the past - food was good, service excellent. However, now that they have 'grown up" in their new location, it seems like they lost the charm and delight they once had.
Last night, at 7.30pm, my friend and I went to the restaurant. We were greeted rather gruffly at the door by an older gentlemen who said "do you have a reservation for tonight?". When I replied that I didn't, he said "we are fully booked with reservations all night" and walked away. There were 3 empty tables. Now that they are in a bigger location, they should manage their seating in a way so as to keep a section open for casual diners (non-reservation). That would allow casual diners the option of waiting for a table in addition to having a reservations section.
When Pasta Pasta was new, they needed patronage but now they seem to have forgotten those of us who were their first customers... I really felt like I was treated with ambivalence and condescension last night. If they plan to fully book their restaurant with reservations only, they should place a sign outside stating "Reservations only" so as to avoid customers being embarrassed and turned away in front of diners. Very disappointing experience. |

First time I've visited since they have moved to their new location and seems like Pasta Pasta has grown up! It's grown from its previous humble digs to a much larger more sophisticated establishment with a full staff. Food was excellent and service first class. However, I nearly only gave 4-stars due to the Italian cheesecake we had for desert. After such a wonderful meal this was disappointing! Very dry and lacked flavor. They get very busy, especially at weekends, so make sure you have a reservation. |

Was very disappointed when my fiance and I went in to eat tonight and were told that they were booked the entire night. Not even offered to wait or anything. When we first walked in nobody greeted us and when someone finally did we were turned away immediately. Not a way to build the best reputation. We live in a small town and word of mouth can ruin a business if your not careful. We will not be back since this was the second time we tried. There are other places in Palm Coast that I'm sure are better and that know their customers are what keeps them going. Customer happiness should be your objective and here that is obviously not the case. |

Visited the new location last Friday and really enjoyed the food. My only complaints are that the dining room doesn't have the "feel" of the previous location. It's too open and maybe needs some kind of dividers. Also, tried the tiramisu for the first time and was disappointed. I like it being served in a glass but it was no way authentic tasting. The lady fingers tasted very plain and should at least be brushed with espresso or sherry. Still, easy to complain but overall the food was delicious! |

We dine at Pasta Pasta on a regular basis and have never been disappointed in the quality of food and service. Chef Andy is not only an excellent chef, but "goes the "extra mile" to accommodate requests and personally visits with the customers to assure satisfaction. Every dish is delicious. Our favorites are the veal dishes and Chicken Sorrentino. Everyone at Pasta Pasta is friendly, and we are happy that Pasta Pasta has now added Maria to the wait staff. Maria remembered my wine preference before taking our order. That's personal service! Reservations recommended... you won't be disappointed! |

We often visit Pasta-Pasta when my wife and I are in town. Their old location was a bit of a tight squeeze at times but the food was always wonderful. Last night we dined at their new location and to our delight, there was PLENTY of room. I have always enjoyed eating any type of veal but last night I wanted something different. I asked Chef Andy if he could make me a veal dish without lemon, mushrooms or parmesan. To my amazement, he said he would make a dish with, as he called it, burnt butter and veal. Well, that dish was BY FAR THE BEST VEAL I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. My hat is off to Chef Andy and Pasta-Pasta. |

I always really enjoy Pasta Pasta and had many great meals there. However, one star is lost because of the decline of their Calamari appetizer. It used to be so lightly dusted and delicious but the last couple of times it has been coated with a thicker batter and not cooked anywhere near as well. Other than that, everything else has been wonderful and I will continue to visit. |

This restaurant is amazing. It never fails to deliver a wonderful meal and great service. We took out of town friends to dinner this evening and they did nothing but rave about the food. I might add that they are not easy to please when it comes to food. Our guest said it was the first restaurant of the many he has been to that actually outdid his homemade specialty. |

This restaurant is a treasure! What more could you want. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was warm, sincere, and attentive. The chef came out to check on how we liked our food as did the owner. The dining experience could not be better. My wife had Penne Alla Norma. It was exquisite. I tried it and loved the blending of flavors. The cheese was dreamy. I ordered Spaghetti E Poletti O Salsiccia. I asked and was allowed to get both meatball & Italian sausage and both were exceptional. Their sausage was lean, with lovely seasonings, just the way I like it. The house salad and garlic knots were fresh and very tasty. The ambiance is warm, cozy with Andrea Bocelli singing in the background. Reservations are a must unless you don't mind a wait. I believe they have plans to move into a larger location in the near future. That will be great. bravo! We in Palm Coast are lucky to have a restaurant of this quality.

On Oct 29 we took our best friends from Atlanta for dinner. They have a favorite called Zola's, plus she "is" of Italian origin. They loved Pasta Pasta. Said it was better than Zola's in Atlanta. Caesar salad was outstanding (commented could taste the "real" Romano cheese). We loved the whole meal, having all different items. We are so glad to have such a "wonderful" Italian restaurant. Oh, by the way, the service was "OUTSTANDING". Andy always comes out to visit. He is so wonderful. |

On Friday evening (10/24/08) my wife and I took some friends to this restaurant for dinner. Our friends were visiting from South Florida. The husband is Italian and a critic of restaurants and the wife is an extremely excellent cook. Well, they loved this restaurant and only had praise for the dinner meal. The owners were like they always are as they visited the table a few times to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The service was outstanding as usual. I do suggest that all who plan to eat at this eatery MAKE RESERVATIONS! |

We went today for our 6+ trip for a late lunch. We try something different for the entree each time, but stick to the "Tony's Salad" split for a starter. Today we added the Veal Portobello, and the Chicken Marsala for the Entrees. Great, Great, Great. And if you like red wine with your entree, try the CR Fortissimo...... Great. We recommended this restaurant to everyone we know. They are great. |

Wow, what a nice addition in Palm Coast. My husband and I ate at this restaurant last evening. We selected it because of the rave reviews it has been receiving on this website. We were very pleased with the service, the environment and the quality of the food. The house dressing for the salad was worth the trip alone. The garlic rolls were freshly baked and served hot. My husband had Chicken Marsala and I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both dishes were excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant. |

Fantastic food in a cozy atmosphere. My only complaint is that although the only server was good, she was too stretched to give everyone the attention required. I had to ask for drink refills and had to get up to get a clean fork. There was an elder gentleman helping with running but he basically dropped the food and left and never asked if he needed anything else. One more server would make a tremendous difference to Pasta Pasta and give its customers the same quality of service as the quality of its food. |

The food here is excellent!! The chef came out and spoke to us, which was very nice. There was only one person waiting tables and she was very busy, so we did not feel we got enough attention in this area, but the food more than made up for this.
The space is small, so if you plan on going on a Friday or Saturday night, I HIGHLY suggest you get a reservation. The location is not so great, but they are a married couple starting a business.
They are child friendly, although there is no children's menu. But, what kid doesn't like to eat pasta from Mom and Dad's plates? You get MORE than enough to share!
The desserts are simply to DIE FOR - be sure to save room!
If you are in the mood for some pasta, Pasta Pasta is a MUST! |

Although I never worked in the culinary field, I did train as a chef in Europe where I learned just enough to appreciate really good food and recognize quality ingredients, so, rarely do I find a restaurant in this area that inspires me and stimulates my taste buds. We do, however, have a handful of good restaurants here and adding to that list is our newest gem, Pasta Pasta.
Pasta Pasta is located next to the old movie theater at St. Joe's Plaza, and although I'm not particularly keen on strip mall locations for restaurants, its small dining room is surprisingly pleasant and cozy. My wife and I arrived on a Sunday without a reservation but were accommodated quite quickly. Our server was friendly and professional and offered good advice on the menu's dishes. As an antipasti we ordered Calamari Fritti. The calamari was very tender and nicely dusted, but being a bit of a heat freak I'd personally would of liked a little more kick to its zesty marinara sauce, but it's flavor was still excellent and I would definitely order it again.
As entrees I ordered the Involtini Di Pollo and my wife selected the Penne Alla Norma. The Involtini Di Pollo is chicken rolled with provolone and prosciutto then cooked with mushrooms in a pink marsala cream sauce. The chicken was succulent and perfectly cooked and the sauce was wonderfully flavored and not too heavy. It's accompanying penne was nicely al dente and served with more of the pink cream sauce. My wife also thoroughly enjoyed her entree, the Penne Alla Norma, a dish made with eggplant, onions and roma tomatoes cooked with Romano, mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. It only took one bite to taste the freshness of its ingredients backed by just enough garlic and fresh basil. For desert, we split the incredible house tiramisu which was remenisant of the style of tiramisu served in many parts of Europe where the savoiardi are placed upright in the dish with the zabaglione in the center.
Pasta Pasta is a credit to the area and a much welcomed, and needed, addition to our selection of local restaurants. It's location is the only downside, but that is easily overlooked by its pleasant atmosphere, friendly and efficient service, good prices, and superb food. Eccellente! |

This was my first visit to Pasta Pasta and I can honestly say it is a "must try". There musn't be a can opener in the kitchen because everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is really friendly. From bread (garlic knots) to desert (tiramisu), every mouthful was a delight. If you are going to go for dinner, make sure you call for reservations. There are only a few tables and it is difficult to get in if you don't have reservations. |

We had Calamari (Great), their house salad/dressing is so fresh and tasty. My husband love spaghetti/meatballs, and he knew the meatballs were done with the "finely" ground meat-Great!. I had the Penne Sicilian. Wow.. the Portobello and eggplant were perfectly baked in the sauce.

Stopped by for a mid-week for lunch and was very impressed. The restaurant inside is very small, but it's comfortable with an intimate atmosphere. We were the only customers in there so service was prompt and attentive. The menu consists of variants of most popular Italian dishes plus a selection of house specialties and chef favorites. Both of our meals were superb. The meat was incredibly tender and the flavor was excellent. Pasta was cooked perfectly and everything was seasoned just right with a good balance of sauce. You can definitely taste the difference between Pasta Pasta and other local Italian restaurants. Highly recommended. |

My wife and I had dinner here on 8/6/08 with friends. This is the first visit to this establishment and the decor was found to be very quaint and beautiful. The service was excellent and then the food came. The food was outstanding, the best Italian that we have eaten. The beer and wine served was outstanding. The salad was the freshest possible. The saltiboca dish that all four of us ordered was prepared to perfection. The side order of pasta and sauce was excellent. Then we had coffee and tiramisu which was excellent, excellent, excellent. The chef/owner visited our table to be sure everything was perfect. Everyone associated with the restaurant was very cordial and made you feel at home. We even met another couple afterward who did not have enough praise for this restaurant. I rather say a dinning experience. Try it, you will not be disappointed at all. |

Went there on 7/15/08, Tues. night and the place was 80 per-cent filled. seemed like everyone enjoyed their meal incl. my wife and all home made food. Some unique items on the menu as well. By the way the garlic knots were as good as reported. Portions were large as we took home half of our meal. Will definitely be back again and again. A real plus for Palm Coast. |

We ate there last night for the first time. Boy was it good. My husband now wants to eat his way through the menu.
The Garlic Knots are heavenly. And the homemade dressing is sooo good.
The food tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. We will be back. |

Talk about EXCELLENT! Small and quaint but big on delicious! We are not big Italian eaters but we do love lasagna and it was awesome here. We even took some home and had almost 3 meals out of it! The garlic knots were great and the homemade dressing on the salad was very good. We will be back for sure! Give them a try! |
