Wow. Where to start? This place is absolutely amazing! Every since I had the young lady make my food I've been hooked! She makes the food not only with savoring flavor but great presentation as well! If i don't see that yellow car outside I will not stop in. I was let down twice before by the fellows in there. The food looked slopped together and did not have the best taste. Overall it has a wonderful vibe and I will continue giving A1A Burrito business as long as she makes my food. |

Somewhere along the way this place seems of lost what it once was. Food is okay, but nowhere near what it used to be! Not sure if they changed recipes or products, but it just hasn't the flavor or "zest" that it used to. I really miss the old Burrito Works! |

We ate there last night and it was awesome! We had the chicken burrito with the works and the mexicake. Adam - kid with red hair, I think that was his name, made us an awesome meal. His suggestion on the Mexicake was right on. Thanks Adam! We are eating the leftover's tonight! |

Place is small and very hectic at times but food is always fresh. Everything is made right in front of you. The best fish tacos anywhere. Try them Baja with salsa. Dirty is not a word I would use to describe this place. You can see everything. Busy it is watch out for flying lettuce. |

WOW! I just ate at the taco shop for the first time. It is by far the best food in all Flagler County and of course this Mexican is fresh and very flavorful. I was so shocked that a little shack could produce excellent quality food and be incredibly clean. The young lady and gentleman working were very helpful and directed me in the right direction...the Baja fish tacos! Most of the workers in other restaurants seem unhappy and very rude but no way could I say that about them. The overall feel was very fun and relaxed I will definitely be back! |

What happened to this place. Used to love the fish tacos but now they're just boring and very plain. The fish is barely seasoned and the sauce no longer has any flavor or spice to it. 2-stars for service and salsa. Looks like another great restaurant gone down hill! |

Excellent burrito's and taco's! I eat here at least once a week, and have never been disappointed. Friendly, fast service, and if you want it spicy "hot", which I always do, Rick & Adam definitely know how to do it right. The best burrito's and taco's in the area, for me! |

(My rating = average for here--they're all mediocre or worse, below average in other parts of the country.) You guys who have been there recently and gave it 4 or 5 stars must have low standards for Mexican food! I was excited when it first opened, as I had several pretty decent meals there. (Maybe because the original owners were from southern California, where people actually know how to make good Mexican food.) Since the new management and the new name, the food has been marginal, at best. I've given them several chances, but it's been a disappointment every time. It smells good, looks tasty, but the flavor never made it here from Mexico or the Southwest. Three strikes, you're out!
The good news is that all the Mexican restaurant impostors and pretenders in this area have driven me to do the unthinkable-- making my own Mexican fare at home, which is much closer to the real thing than the Del Taco or TV dinner style food they serve in this area. I doubt many of the local places would survive in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, or Texas. (They would go over about like steak places in India!) I have no idea why Florida has been deprived of real Mexican food, but if we ever get a good restaurant here, I will be a faithful customer for life! |

Awesome! Fresh! Clean! Best restaurant in all of Flagler County, no joke. Pay attention restaurant owners this is how food/ service is supposed to be! Small it may be, but it provides a titans worth of hospitality, and local freshness in its food. Can't get enough keep up the good work! |

I moved to Flagler County about a year ago and whenever I asked anyone where to eat A1A Burrito was always one of the first places mentioned. It has now become my favorite place to eat for both me and my husband. It's laid back feel and close proximity to the beach makes it the perfect stop for a good ole' fashioned beach town meal. Now anytime anyone asks me where to eat in Flagler County I send them to A1A Burrito Works. Keep up the great job guys! |

After reading the reviews of A1A Burrito Works we immediately drove down to see if it lived up to such positive reviews, however and by no means is this place BELOW average, we coudnt concur with the other reviews. Physically we knew what to expect from the photos and it fits the casual laid back "Beach" feel, especially since the seating was outside with a nice view of the ocean. The only complaint in this area was the large trash can only a few feet from our table which had its share of rummaging flies, but stayed fairly away from our table surprisingly, however when the wind would shift the smell was quite harsh. I understand society has become lazy when caring for the environment and would probably leave their rubbish on the tables, ending up on the ground with the beach wind, had a garbage can wasnt within arms length, but still it made us eat quite faster and was unable to enjoy the surroundings. Secondly, Im not sure if the price is comparable to other Mexican restaurants, but felt it was a little costly, especially when we ran out of their SMALL drop of salsa prompting us to ask for one more as was told it was an additional charge ( !! )It was only a cap full to begin with, but what got us was that for two burritos and two drinks, which I think totalled $13-$15, charged us when we had just tipped him $5.00, which we handed him directly not noticing the "Tip" jar. If he was not a owner I can understand rules and would never want to cause someone to be fired but come on, you only get approx the size of three capfulls of a 2litre bottle of soda. I didnt have any change so I said thats ok, but as I walked out the door he said " I guess I can give you a little" which was just that, a little, not that I didnt appreciate it, I just hate when restaurants focus on such little things that when added up can easily be the end. As far as the taste I had a beef burrito and felt the ground beef tasted almost burnt but it was large. I was also dissapointed that the chips were simply from a generic bag you can get in any store and was quite rubbery of course from the moisture of the beach, but again, that is an important part of the meal. I was pleased however that the gentleman used gloves but when we bought another soda he handled the money with the gloves on and then went back to working with the food without changing them, yuk...but I'm not dumb to the fact that a lot more happens in kitchens out of the public sight and gloved employee's are quite rare. Overall the overkill of the reviews was a disappointment, BUT, we WILL give them ONE more chance, hoping it was just an off day, which I know can happen, therefore I will rate this as average and hope I can up that at my next visit. |

I work near the restaurant and eat there frequently. Its fresh, authentic and somewhat healthy(unless you eat too many chips). The staff is always friendly and don't mind special orders.Watch out for the heat if you don' t do spicy. The "works" topping is great! They have a regular crowd that caters to locals and surfers who pack the place. Don't go in a hurry cause everything is made to order. You'll definitely repeat this one. |

I go all the time and there wasn't one thing I didn't like. I guess my favorite is the burrito bowl. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it... you wont be disappointed. |

After reading so many great reviews, we finally tried this afternoon. My husband had the "3" tacos (beef), and I had the Pork Burrito. Wow, how great they were. The owner also introduced my husband to his homemade "hot" peppers. Another "wow". And it was so beautiful to sit outside, with a nice breeze. Owner makes everything from scratch, roasting the meat overnight. You have to try it. |

As a longtime Southern California resident, 10 years each San Diego & Orange County, I know good Mexican food. This place is quite good. I had a chicken burrito and my wife had a fish burrito. Both were exceptional. The flavors were as they should be, right down to the cilantro. When ordering by phone, you get asked specifically how hot your salsa should be. The guy would ask on a scale of 1-10. I appreciate that. It's important. Guacamole is part of the ingredients and it was yummy and prepared correctly. I don't know the kids running this place but they must have lived in S.Cal or visited for a while. Good for them! The ambiance is non-existent as it's purely takeout. They had my food ready when I arrived both times. |

OMG! After reading so many great reviews on this hole in the wall, my husband, 2 year old daughter, and I decided to check it out on our short visit to Flagler this past weekend. The guy who took my order was great and very courteous. I was very impressed with everything, but if you are expecting a regular sized burrito, you are in for a huge surprise! I ordered a large with the works only because I love guacamole and sour cream on anything Mexican. It was HUGE and I couldn't finish it. I totally recommend this place to anybody who loves Mexican food. |

I took a visit to Burrito Works this afternoon around 1:45. They were real busy with customers out the door. Since I've heard so much about the wonderful food I waited. Walking through the door I was greeted by a nice young lady behind the register. She was very helpful when ordering my food. The people on the line seemed to be hard at work making the orders. It was a wonderful experience, especially with the awesome service and such nice workers. |

Quality west-coat Mexican. Most people seem to get 'The Works,' but the Baja sauce will knock your socks off. I've eaten here several times a week since we moved to Flagler, and its always great. Although its not on the menu, the Baja Fish Burrito is the best thing on the menu. If it weren't for this place, we wouldn't have moved here three months ago. We can't live without quality Mexican. A1A Burrito works delivers us this fundamental human right every single time.
In reading the reviews below, there seems to be some confusion: This is not fast food. This is quality Mexican take-out: cooked to order with fresh, organic ingredients. As a result, it takes a bit longer than Taco Bell. The word has gotten out and they're slammed on the weekend because... the food is amazing, so you may have to wait ten minutes for your food. But it is SO worth it. |

I have to agree with a couple of the other reviews about the decline in service and quality when an owner is not there. On my last visit a guy was very busy cooking and making the food while one girl took orders, who was very polite and did a great job, and another girl seemed to be there to do nothing but be very demeaning towards the cook in front of customers. We felt very awkward for him. Stay away on weekends or whenever the owners take off. It's nowhere near as good! |

I never thought it would happen, but today's visit to Burrito Works was not a very good one. The staff seemed very disorganized with one girl in particular behind the counter confusing the other staff and customers. The result was food far below its usual standard for this restaurant. I noticed the owners were not there so maybe that had something to do with it! |

Not only is the food outstanding, so are the workers. As a local surf teen who isn't allowed to walk in many other restaurants dripping wet after a session I gladly go and eat the largest burrito you will ever see for a cheap price. I strongly suggest getting one of their smoothies (my favorite the Whorly Bomb). If your in the area definitely go check them out, I guarantee you wont be disappointed. |

I was shocked at the amount of food you get we had to take home half and had it for dinner. My husband is hard to please when it comes to Mexican food and he was very happy. I had the beef quesadilla @ 6.25 and it was the best I have ever had, my husband had the beef burrito @ 6.85 and the chips and homemade guacamole @ 2.75. And I would almost swear to the fact that the burrito weighed almost 2 pds. LOL It was huge. Anyway give them a try. EXCELLENT! I do not post a lot but felt I had to give them there due. |

WOW!!! I was so surprised... this is a great place for the beach. We stopped and ordered the best food I have ever tasted. I could live on their shrimp tacos. My husband decided on the Burrito. He was so thrilled to have the choices they offer.. black beans or pinto, chicken, pork, beef (real beef, not ground beef). he thought the rice was cook just right also. If you haven't tried them grab your bag of goodies from their friendly staff and walk across to beach. You might want to try their Mexican Soda. The watermelon is great. |

Great food!! We just stopped by tonite and picked up the Papa Grande Burritos for dinner. They are huge! Absolutely tasty! The salsa is homemade and very good. Good prices. We will definitely be back. |

Nice fun place to eat with friendly service and good prices. Food is great and it's a nice place to sit outiside and enjoy lunch. Better than most other local options. |

Cool little place. Very friendly, good food and a nice change from the same old sandwiches elsewhere. Give it a try! |

Totally friendly atmosphere. Great service. Oh yeah, YUM! I just had the best quesadilla I've eaten since living in Florida. I'm definitely going back to get my name on the wall, ceiling, where ever they can fit it in. |

I have been to the Burrito Works several times and the food is good. It's very clean and the owners are very nice. |
