The food was terrible. The restaurant wasn't very clean and the service was horrible. I would not recommend it at all. It's not worth the money. |

The food was great! My daughter and I stopped in for lunch, had the Beef Enchiladas, rice and beans with salsa on top, the owner Gloria was on the shy side but very pleasant. The restaurant was very clean which is high on my check list, have been back four times already. |

This is the worst Mexican restaurant we have ever eaten in our entire life. The food was cold and tasted terrible. I wish they would close down. |

I don't know what restaurant some of these folks were visiting, but green enchiladas aren't even on this menu. This food a TERRIBLE. It's bland, flavorless, uninspired, no salsa.... yuck. They take a raw wrap and throw some rice in it...no seasonings- flavorless. The people are NOT friendly. No one said so much as hello, goodbye or thank you to us- COLD people, COLD atmosphere and COLD burritos. Total disappointment. Anyone who thinks this place is 'the best' has serious palate issues. |

Best Mexican restaurant in North Florida... If you like real Mexican food this is the place for you. Their tacos and burritos are the best! Prices are excellent. |

First a disclaimer, I am not affiliated in any way with any restaurant in Flagler county. This place is awful! The food is bland, lukewarm, and totally uninspired. The cheese is like shredded stryrofoam. My wife and I have enjoyed Mexican cuisine from coast to coast and in Mexico proper. We've had great and sometimes unusual experiences - but this place makes Taco Bell seem like gourmet! Never have we tasted anything this poor. The rice was old and had shriveled peas and carrots in it! My wife's plate was garnished with martini olives! ???? The vegetarian burrito had rice, beans and lettuce in it - that's all! The spices were non-existent. The beans tasted like they just came out of a can - in fact I think I would have rather had Bush's Chili Beans out of a can rather then the dry, flavorless ones they served! I really can't imagine what these owners are thinking! The service was basically adequate, but cold. I am not a negative person, and I was really hoping for a convenient Mexican restaurant here in PC, but do not patronize here! Seriously, go to Taco Bell - at least the food is warm and the cheese melts! Interestingly enough, the word Potosi has no translation into English - perfect name for this restaurant! |

I recently picked up a lunch order for my office and everyone was very pleased with their order. The food was delicious and very fresh. The employees were very friendly. I've lived in Texas for 10 years and this was the best Mexican food I've had in Central Florida. They were very generous with the sour cream but need to add salsa or pico de gallo with the meals. I'll definitely be back! |

We ate here several weeks ago. You order at the front, then they call when your food is ready. It is very, very casual. Food preparation took about 10 minutes. The food was great for both my husband and i; no complaints there. Although this is a little more casual than we usually like to do, we might be back for take-out. |

Me and my sister went here to eat some good Mexican food! It was a HUGE disappointment! The restaurant was cold the cashier was blab and had no personality like a walking zombie! and she couldn't speak very much English! I had the chicken burrito and it was ok it didn't have much flavor, the only thing I would recommend nachos and refried beans! |

The people were nice and the place was clean. The prices are good. The food was horrible. I ordered the enchiladas verde (green enchiladas), which I have had several places, the enchilada sauce was like a greasy lumpy gravy. I will not go back. You would be better off going to Taco Bell. |

I think this place is great! The owners are friendly and although there is a little bit of a language barrier, I could carry on a conversation with them. I had the chimichanga for lunch and it was delicious, very filling and only $4! It came with chips on the side and little "salad" of lettuce, tomato wedge, onion, olives and a pickle - interesting. I will be going back to try the tacos and the nachos and I'm bringing some friends who are looking for good Mexican food in Palm Coast. |

(My rating = average for around here, below average for areas that have real Mexican restaurants.) After living in California and Colorado, we are completely spoiled because there were so many great Mexican restaurants and taquerias in both states. We have long been in search of comparable food in this area with very little success. Maybe what we have here is Cuban restaurants masquerading as Mexican cafes. They certainly don't have the recipes or the know-how to produce authentic, tasty Mexican dishes. (I don't understand why it's so difficult!) El Potosi has some potential, but it appears they haven't been in the restaurant business before and are missing some of the important clues. So far, the only thing that has been reasonably good and fairly priced was the chimichanga. Their menu is very limited and most of the items served are miniature versions of what you would expect, with little or no sauce, lettuce, cheese, or taste. They don't even have any green Chile or pico de gallo in the place. What part of Mexico are they from? Hopefully, they will get some help from someone who actually knows how to prepare and present REAL Mexican food and they will save the business from the fate of the dreadful and now defunct La Hacienda. I've thought of taking my own salsa to Taco Bell and pretending I'm in Old Town San Diego. Oh, I can taste the green Chile and fresh tortillas already! |

We are Mexican food fans, have eaten it in Colorado, Arizona, Georgia and Florida; were anxious to get a Mexican restaurant in Palm Coast. My husband and daughter were not impressed at all; however, the chimichanga was very different and tasty and I actually snuck back the next day to get another one. Very limited menu, small portions, but I believe very authentic - no toppings and sauces like American Mex food, but very tasty, and the people even though don't speak English are very nice. I will try it again but still looking for Mexican food in Palm Coast. |

First time for us and we ordered a takeout of enchiladas with rice and beans.. and a chimichanga. It was very good!! Their sauce is very good. Have tried all of the other Mexican restaurants in Palm Coast and we thought the Rodeo was the best which has now moved to the quality Inn on Rt 100 in Ormond. El Potosi has a language barrier. They did their best to answer questions and they were very polite.... It is a little slow but that is okay with us as long as the food is good. And it was very tasty. Can't wait to go back. |

The food was awesome. The service was great. The tacos were the best I've ever had made fresh in less than 10 minutes. I'm not sure why others have complained as I was totally impressed and looking forward to many more nights at El Potosi! coming from a person who loves Mexican food and tries all restaurants. You have to try El Potosi. |

Went there for lunch today. Being from California, dying for a good Mexican Restaurant, went in with an open mind. Service was very slow and not very good. I was excited to see they fry their taco shells, have not seen that in Florida yet, so I was still anxious to be a fan. The meat was shredded, which is a plus, tacos were a little greasy, but ok. Portions were small and pretty pricey. The menu was limited, but so is In-N-Out Burger...if the food is good, who cares how many items are on the menu. I hope they can get it together and make a good go of it. I would be willing to try again, but they do need some improvement before I would recommend it as a good place to go....Let's hope they can figure it out.. |

Not sure how authentic this place is or not, but I thought it was awful. The menu was very limited and what arrived was almost tasteless and not worth the money. The Mexican in Bunnell knocks the socks off this place in terms of flavor, service and value for money. |

I loved it! My husband and I both loved it, the chimichangas were awesome, the tacos, the burritos, everything. We moved here 3 years ago from California, and we have been dying for a GOOD Mexican restaurant to open.
The people who gave this place a bad review must not know what real Mexican food tastes like, they probably were expecting giant sloppy dishes from an American version of TexMex or "Taco Bell". Typical comments from people that really don't know what Mexican food is. |

Such a disappointment! There are only about four items on the menu. We tried the beef and chicken chimichangas. They were about the worst I have ever had in a Mexican restaurant. They had no flavor and the only thing it came with besides the flavorless chicken and beef was a tablespoon of lettuce! We will not be going back. |

My family and I stopped by there today for lunch first off the menu is extremely limited only taco, nachos, chimichanga, burrito, corn on a stick, flautas, and coconut cream for desert. Its al a carte and not cheap. We tried nachos which was covered in beans and cheese with no taste and very small portion, also had chicken burrito no flavor and chicken chimichanga once again lacked in flavor just had chicken, cheese and lettuce. The desert was not good either. I wouldn't waste your money go to taco bell you get a better selection and food at least has some flavor. Its sad there's no good Mexican places to eat around here. |
