Finally, a true Italian restaurant. Don't go there if your expecting everything smothered in cheese because that is pizzeria (American) Italian. My husbands veal marsala was superb. (Appetizer) Clams, Mussels and shrimp in a red sauce to die for.
Broccoli Rabe and sausage like no other, beautiful salad with fresh orange slices and fresh beets. One of the best menus I have ever seen. Can't wait to return to try other dishes. The staff was personable and truly accommodating, we arrived a bit early with no reservation and they were able to accommodated us (we got lucky). If your looking for weekend seating you'll need to reserve by Wednesday and at least 24 hrs before during the week. Place is small, every table had a reserved sign on it with number in party & arrival time. WELL WORTH IT!
I honestly cannot believe this place exists in Palm Coast. One of the nicest restaurants I have ever been in and my wife and I accidentally wandered in with our two young boys! The staff was very attentive, the chef (owner?) was pleasant and thankfully our boys were well-behaved. The food was pricier than we've had in Palm Coast, but fresh pasta and excellent ingredients are worth paying for. My wife and I cannot wait to return alone!
This restaurant is a GEM! The food - wonderful, The service - attentive, The atmosphere - nice. It is a small space, which is why the lower rating. They keep doing what they are doing and they will need a much larger space soon! Keep it up, I am coming back again and again!
We were there on Saturday nite. The Osso Buco was the finest meal I have had since we moved here . The atmosphere, waitstaff, the chefs and Georgr make it an experience .We are going back this weekend and bringing friends. Do not miss this little gem.
My husband I ate there last evening (Monday) at 4 pm. No one else in the restaurant during our meal. Service was good and atmosphere was pleasant. I ordered the special, Lobster Ravioli, and it was good but there was very little lobster in the ravioli. The portion looked almost like an appetizer size. My husband ordered the veal marsala and it was good, but again portion size was very small. At $22 and $18 respectively, I would have liked a salad or soup to come with the meal. The wine list is extensive, but the $30 bottle of Cabernet that we ordered was not as good as some $6 bottles we have had in the past.
We had a delightful eating experience at Osteria Rustica. What an unexpected surprise! The food was delicious (my tuna was one of the best I've ever had) the wine list excellent, the service perfect and the ambiance very enjoyable. We've lived in Italy and know how small, family run village restaurants should be. Osteria Rustica is as close to authentic as you will find. We love the Tuscan Grill but now we have two fabulous Italian restaurants to choose from in Flagler County. Lucky us!
My husband and I went to Osteria the other night for the first time with another couple. This is a new restaurant and a welcomed addition to Palm Coast!! We all had soups, salads, apps, our entrees, dessert , and wine. The food and service was absolutely fabulous! Very reasonably priced.
Very attentive staff. Made you feel like family. The food was very flavorful and authentic. We all highly recommend Osteria and will go back often.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a quaint, homey atmosphere with spectacular service and wonderful food in the location that was formerly Larry's Deli.
The restaurant probably seats 40 with white table linens and subdued lighting. Wine prices were very reasonable and they serve an extensive array of entrees (including pizza). This is more than a pizza parlor and compares favorably with Tuscan Grill (which is one of our favorites). Prices are a little higher than Tuscan Grill; however, we found our food to be fresh, perfectly prepared and, as already mentioned, with wonderful service. We had a very pleasant experience and will definitely return.
