Custom ice cream & made fresh!! My families attend an ice cream social charity event tonight for local charities Volunteer Services of Flagler County "I Can Read Program" & Flagler Palm Coast High School Band. It's nice to see a business support the community. I loved the Mercury ice cream combination and custom creation of vanilla ice cream with almonds, pecans, and chocolate chips. We cannot wait to go back!
Galatic Freeze is hands down THE BEST place to go and get ice cream! Sooo incredibly fresh and fun to watch! My husband and I have been there almost everyday since we first tried it. The owners are very very nice and they cater to everyone's wants and needs. The atmosphere is really cool too! It's like walking into another universe - very cool and perfect for kids! Thank you Galatic Freeze for bringing the coolest ice cream parlor to our neighborhood!
Based on the positive reviews, we drove up from Flagler to Palm Coast this evening to try Galactic Freeze Ice Cream. The shop is hard to see from the road at night (especially when it's raining), but we're happy we made the trip. The ice cream is delicious! It's distinctly different from other ice creams because it's made fresh - very creamy with no ice crystals - and the fruit and other mixins don't freeze at the same rate as the cream. I had a combination of strawberry, mango and banana and it was the best fruit ice cream that I've tasted! The other members of our party also enjoyed their flavors, which involved various combinations of chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, cookie dough, fudge, mint, candy, etc. The service was excellent and the portions were generous! I hope the out-of-the-way location doesn't hurt the shop's chances of success.
This is place is awesome!! It's fun, the people.who work there are super nice, and it tastes amazing. everything is fresh and they cater to everybody's needs, whether you'd like sugar free ice cream, non fat yogurt.. gluten free, or just regular ice cream- any one you choose tastes amazing!!! Totally recommended!! Let's keep this place open! go visit!
There seems to be a lot of ice cream shops opening in Palm Coast lately but this one stands out a little more with its use of liquid nitrogen. Basically they hand make each order and freeze it with liquid nitrogen. The end result is ice cream that's very cold with a different texture to regular ice cream. It's quite fun and tastes pretty good, but it does take a while to make and I can imagine if a few customers were in there it could create a long slow line. Overall though I enjoyed it and the girls working in there were very friendly.
Great new Ice Cream Place. Was really delicious. Hand Mango, Strawberry and Pineapple. And watched them make it with their scientific like machine! Will go back for sure.
Everything is awesome there! The ice cream is great (especially the Andes Mint with Choc) and its even better as a shake! Its a colorful, positive atmosphere all together. They even cater to people who need sugar free desserts. I recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth who also wants a good show!
They ice cream was ab awesome creation but the process takes a while . the service was just perfect and puts a smile on your face . the place needs some lighting adjustments ,its a little plain ...but as soon as you taste the creation its like a solar system in my mouth . WONDERFUL WORK . don't forget the amazing grand opening is dec 16th !
Stopped in Wednesday night and was very impressed with the set up in Galactic Freeze. The array of toppings and "flavors" was great and everyone in my party (from Grandma to Grandson and in-between) was satisfied with what we had. There's a bit of a "dinner and a show" mentality as the liquid nitrogen routine looks pretty cool and results in some of the best ice cream you'll ever have.
Portions were huge, service was with a smile (a little slow, but realize they just opened and the process takes longer than just scooping ice cream out of a freezer.), price was right and everything tasted great.
