Definitely not what it used to be. I was raised in Daytona, where we had two local Sonny's and would go to one on special occasions. Went away to school, and they were gone when I came back. Now I know why, I've given the Palm Coast four shots now. The first two bad, the third okay, and this last definitely NOT worth the money. If I wanted service like this, I'd wait in line at the McDonald's drive through. The order was wrong, the waitress seemed barely conscious or exhausted from some event the night before, and the food when it finally reached us was cold and overcooked to dryness.

As much as i have fond memories of the "OLD" Sonny's, this place has lost me.

Not too sure what people are complaining about. While it is not the very best BBQ food I've tasted, my experience for lunch was quite satisfying. Salad bar seemed fresh and well-stocked, while our ribs were falling off the bone and well seasoned. Atmosphere could use a face lift, but what does one expect going to Sonny's anyway? Lots of food provided even for lunch...a doggy bag for some might be necessary. Waitress was attentive and did an excellent job.

This is not really the best BBQ. It tastes like it came from a tub at the supermarket and their sauces make it edible. Salad bar is lame too. Prices are not on par with the quality. Server was good though. Dining area felt greasy.

I ordered the family meal to go and it was awful. Please don't waste your money here - drive right past and go to Golden Corral, or anywhere else! If you are set on Sonny's, go to the one on Granada in Ormond instead.

My husband and I went to our local Sonny's for valentines day. We ordered all you can eat ribs. My French fries were cold, so they recooked them. When we reordered ribs, and they were burned, black. The waitress Kelly said , they are black because we had to put them in the oven. I said I can't eat these burned ribs, and she just walked away. Our drinks were still empty, so my husband said let's just pay and leave. We pay, and the manager was outside. So my husband calls the next day, and talks to the manager on duty. He said he would talk to the Manager from the night before and he would call us. Still no phone call or apology.

Visited for dinner with my wife lat night. Food was quite good but the pulled pork seemed greasier than it used to be. Sides were good. Server was friendly and kept drinks etc coming. The restaurant itself though was dirty! I chose not to have the salad bar because it was messed up and the floors really needed cleaning. The carpet under our booth was covered with dropped food.
