My husband and I had visited Houligan's at Destination Daytona and liked it. So we decided to give this one in Palm Coast a try. We really enjoy going here. We've had good service and the food is quite tasty. They give you a lot. The fish & chips are great and easily enough for two people. And they make a really tasty chili.
This restaurant has it's high and low points. The low points are the limited menu and VERY limited beer selection. The high points are the food they do have is quite good and the service and atmosphere are pretty cool. This is one of those places were noting on the menu ever really appeals to me, but being a big fan of trying new beers I wish they had a much better selection other than the same old Bud or Miller variety. This is the only place in town not offering craft beers!
Love going to this restaurant. I've always had good service. And the food is really good. However, I don't see a menu listing online. I do have a menu that I got for takeout. But would like to see one online since I'm sitting at the computer.
Anyway, Houligan's is the best. Especially love the seasoned fries and the club sandwich is the bomb.
Food was good here as usual today and I really like their seasoned fries, but service not so good. We sat at a table close to the bar and the waitress appeared to have an attitude from the start. I'll return as I like Houligan's but would request another server if I had her again.
This place is not quite what it once was. I call it the "shiny penny" syndrome. It once was a shining star in Palm Coast, but it is starting to lose its luster. Burgers seem smaller, less fries, maybe a little less care. Will I return? Yep. It's still quite good. Will i recommend? Yep again. After all, it's Houligans! But there are other places to eat in Palm Coast and the competition for customer dollars should see this place improve, not starting to wilt.
