Wow, those Wally Wings are killer! The Turkey Reuben was great! Very attentive staff, we were greeted within a minute. A very positive experience and the prices are reasonable, a value and a half! |

I really can't say much about this sports bar. We waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged and when our nachos finally arrived they were wet and soggy. The manager came out to apologize and asked us if we would like something else and so we ordered the potato skins which were also not good. At this point we just sucked it up to a bad experience and left never to return again. |

I give this place 5 stars for what it is, a sports bar with some very good pub grub! It's not gourmet cuisine, but it's excellent fresh food served by friendly and lively staff. The place is very clean, inviting and comfortable and the prices very reasonable. |

The first restaurant I've been to in a very long time where the Manager is actually on the dining room floor taking care of his customers and taking the time to get to know them. My wife loves the wally wings well she ended up with some very small ones and Aaron was right there to take care of it.... he returned in no time with some larger ones and made her night. As an ex-restaurant manager and consultant, as far as I can see they're doing all the right things... keep up the good work. |

Two for lunch at this restaurant yesterday. Service and food were great, as usual. Only negative - during the lunchtime hours, there were two representatives from Florida Hospital Flagler in the foyer asking for donations for a new wing for the hospital. While the concept (to better the hospital) was good, the hounding of patrons was tacky. This was the wrong venue to solicit donations. Will leave without eating if this happens again. |

My boyfriend and I wanted to go out and enjoy the All Star Game last night. I called Houligans earlier in the day and spoke to Kelly to inquire info such as: best time to arrive and where was the best place to sit for the game. Kelly was very helpful. As per her suggestion, we arrived one half hour prior to the game, got to pick a great place to watch the game. Next, here comes Christie, our server. Christie was very courteous, lots of fun, did not rush us and just made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. Would love to do this again. Great Job from entire staff! |

( This will be my last review unless my opinion changes, I quickly needed to update an omission below..sorry) As I stated below, I couldn't remember the "Chefs" name, however we visited Houligans (Palm Coast) last night for the first time since the last entry for a late night dinner. Even though I had all intentions of asking the name of the gentleman I spoke of below he actually came out to the dining room once again and recognized us from our last visit. I know this is my third entry for this restaurant and I hope no one feels there is a hidden agenda in this, the third positive review, however I have to mention again... I have been to SO many five star restaurants around the world as well as owning restaurants and I have only been approached by the chef a very few times!... so please understand my praise. I understand by no means is Houligans a 5 star or diamond (AAA/Mobile/Conde Nast/Beard Foundation) establishment since they are a casual restaurant, but once again we were visited by Larry S. who I NOW know as the Kitchen Manager, yet his understanding of manager clearly includes every aspect of this establishment. Professional is an understatement, at the same time was truly genuine in the well being of our grandmother who was with us that last visit below but fell in the rain soaked parking lot in which 911 was called, which Larry and Scott Mc Crum stood by us until and during the EMT took her to the hospital. I can read people pretty well, and he was really genuine in his concern. So...props to Larry who's name I forgot below and felt with his outstanding customer service skills and representation of Houligans as a whole I must include an addition to the last entry. Apologies for yet another entry, but he earned it well. Thank you Larry... you proved last night that your interest in our hospitality the last visit wasn't just a random encounter. Thank you for accepting yet another entry, this will be my last, lol..... Hunter |

Below (Scroll down PREVIOUS REVIEW OF THIS ONE) is my review from a previous visit(s) The comment of " Gramaphone" (God knows why I typed that) was meant to be "Germaphobe"..sorry. ANYWAY, We celebrated a family members 21st birthday last night -1/29/09, and the staff could NOT Have been any more accommodating and helpful had it been THEIR family member. Scott McCrum(Hope I spelled it correctly)went WAY above any other restaurant I've ever encountered for a customer event and attended to us personally until the time we left!!...I've owned a few restaurants and the franchisee or Houligans Inc should be counting their blessings for Scott to be on board, especially in this temperamental economy, not to mention the Palm Coast area being a virgin budding consumer market. Our solo server, JENNIFER was SUPER!...not only did she attend to us (around 6-8 people ordering at all different stages/items) I noticed she attended to other tables as well, taking time to visit with them as with us also. EVEN THE CHEF came out, offering to personalize an order (I just called to ask his name, and now I've forgotten it already, when I ask again,Ill add it above) I've had that happen, MAYBE a couple times in NYC,LA,Miami,Montreal,Key West, etc at "5 Star" establishments, but NEVER at a chain/family style eatery..."Thank you CHEF!! we appreciated your effort and apologies for my absent mind. We cant say enough about this place, and anyone is free to contact me if they find this review hard to be true. Thanks for the great night!! |

NEVER had a bad meal here and the help was always very attentive and happy. Its obvious the owner(s) are gramophones, which isn't a bad thing, because the place is spotless and the automatic touchfree soap, water and bathroom door are great and shows what the cleanliness must be like for the kitchen. I never understood why the state of Florida makes restaurants put those signs up that employees must wash hands, but then have the bathroom door open inwards so you have to touch the handle, which is one of the dirtiest proven statistical places on earth, besides our mouth, but again, its our own bacteria. So this place is great. Its a little loud so of you don't like sports, multiple TV screens, which there are SEVERAL showing various sport related themes, then you may not want to go, but the menu is great, cheap, clean, get a lot of food, fast and has a HUGE bar area. Hope it stays this way. |

Saturday afternoon/evening went to this restaurant to watch and cheer on the Florida Gators. This restaurant (sports bar) is superb. From the appetizers served to the main meal and after dinner coffee, everything was tremendous. We had a tremendous server. Diana was at the table for everything and anything we needed. She was great. I'm sure the other servers are very attentive, but if you ask for Diana you will not be disappointed. And we were all happy because the Gators won. We were not rushed or hurried in any way. A great place and a credit to Palm Coast. Kudos to the management and owner. |

From the moment me and 4 of my girlfriends walked through the door at Houligan's, (our first time) we were greeted so warmly with smiles from both the hostess and a manager. The restaurant was very busy as we expected for a Saturday night, so there was a wait, which was worth it. We went to the bar for a drink, two young blondes behind the bar didn't smile and weren't friendly.(My only complaint) I normally don't complain about something so miniscule, but my girlfriends noticed this too. We understand they are busy but I would rather have my martini take 10 minutes and be given to with a smile than 3 minutes without even eye contact. Our buzzer alarmed and our table was ready quicker than the time our hostess had quoted. (GOOD JOB GIRLS!) Our server came no less than a minute after the hostess seated us and we knew she was busy but still had a warm smile and patiently waited as we decided what appetizers we wanted; & giving us great recommendations and opinion. Something we could not help but notice was the teamwork. I have served many years so I couldn't help but notice our server running others food, other servers bringing ours and everyone helping to clear off the tables fast. I could go on... Food was fast, fresh and just the way we ordered it. Every time since our first has been just as great! |

We moved to FL recently and find it difficult to get any of my favorite college football games on TV down here (BYU games). They are going to have all the games on this year at Houligan's! Best part is they don't rush us when we come to watch a game. They let us take our time and watch as long as we want and don't make us feel rushed. We will keep coming back as long as they have the games on and continue to make us feel welcome. Wings are good too. Western Burger was just okay, but the fries were pretty good too. |

Wife and I had lunch yesterday. Place was neat, clean, orderly. Hostess, staff were polite and smiling. My wife ordered hamburger platter w/fries, I ordered fried grouper sandwich w/fires. MY MISTAKE. Wife's burger and fries VG, my grouper smelled fishy, even after frying, which indicates fish was old. Kitchen staff obviously knew this and gave me twice as many fries on my platter. First time I did not follow my house rules...order food for which restaurant is known for. This place is for burgers, fries, wings, nachos, beer, period. As this was my mistake, did not complain about fish, although staff did not ask us how everything was?
Will have lunch here again and stick to this restaurant's signature dishes, as noted above. (Rating of Good notes kitchen staff trying to fool me.) |

Went here for the second time on 8/2/2008 and got the rib dinner for the second time. The ribs were perfect first time. I did not have to pick them up as the meat was so tender it came right off the bones. This time the meat was tough and there was no way to remove the meat with a fork and knife. It was even hard to pick up and get the meat off with your teeth. I was really looking forward to another meal of great ribs but ended up very disappointed. |

A large group of about 20-25 of us visited on a Friday night, and while they were very busy, our food was hot and fresh and nothing went wrong. They had no warning of us coming guess and they handled us like troopers. Would go back in a heart beat! |

Was in the restaurant two weeks ago, at the bar. I have to agree with other people about the help. There were three bartenders on duty with three couples and two singles and myself sitting at the bar, and each one of us had to ask for another drink. The help was too busy talking to one of the cooks at the stand-up tables and holding a freinds baby, while the other was back in the kitchen trying to get orders straight. Not a good sign for a place that just open. Did enjoy the soft opening for the Stewart-Macrhmen Foundation. Hope things work out for them. |

The two blonde bartenders seem very unfriendly. A simple hello and a enthusiastic smile is not much to ask for! I think management should evaluate how they want there employees to represent there establishment. This has happened every time I go in for a beer! |

This was my second visit and no where near as enjoyable as my first. Although almost empty, service was slow. Had to keep asking for drink refills. Staff just stood around staring at the TV screens ignoring us. Sandwich was OK, but fries were not very good. They were cold, limp and flavorless. Hopefully Houligan's haven't fallen into the usual Palm Coast trap of declining service after opening. |

We particularly enjoy the fried shrimp and seasoned fries(not too salty, just right). Coleslaw is just wonderful. Hamburger; however, was just OK..much prefer those at The Meeting Place. Severs very friendly and pretty good. Nice atmosphere for a sports bar..not very noisy. Also very clean. Brought friends the second visit. One had the Reuben and the other grilled shrimp entree. They both enjoyed their food and we all agreed that Houligan's will be added to our list of favorite restaurants in the area. |

We enjoyed ourselves very much at Houligans. The service was exceptional as was the food. My steak and cheese sandwich was tasty with fresh veggies and tender sliced ribeye. My wife's ribs were tender & delicious. The atmosphere was festive with lots of young people having a great time. Bottom line, a fun place. The big screen TVs are wall to wall. We asked to have a channel change to MLB and it was done ASAP. They have LOTS of TVs and you can see what you want. I'll be going back often. In a sour economy they are doing a good business. Bravo! |

Visited Houligan's for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is typical for sports bars with oak wood and lots of big screen TV's. Some booths had personal TV's. Service was very good, friendly and attentive. Our nacho grande appetizer was tasty and more than enough for two and our sandwiches were excellent. My only complaint was that the seasoned fries were VERY VERY salty and I could not eat them. |

FINALLY, there is a decent, fun place to go in this town! Investors take note: My family and I intend to visit this restaurant every chance we get. The atmosphere is fun, the food is okay and if you get the right bartender, the drinks are great! There are more TVs then you can imagine and we cannot wait for football season. We are so excited that Houligan's is here. I am super excited that Palm Coast is stepping up- hopefully more industry is on its way! |

We are so happy that Hooligan's has finally arrived in Palm Coast. My husband and I have been in three to four times since it's been open. The atmosphere is great, tons of TV's, that's a good thing since we are sports fans. The food is wonderful, especially the "Wally Wings". Last time we were in I had the French Dip and it was delicious, best roast beef I've had out in a long time. All of the wait staff are excellent. They keep coming back and checking on you, which I like. The management is always present and concerned that you are enjoying your experience at Hooligans. It is so nice to finally have a neighbor bar and grille to go to and actually bump into friends and neighbors. We highly recommend Hooligan's. |

We have gone twice in the last week and have found that the service is better than most places in town. Their prices are reasonable and the food is just average. The place is set up very nice and the personal TV's in the booths are a super touch! More of a lunch place than one for dinner. |

We had a birthday party with about 20 people they went out of their way to make us comfortable! The best food and service I've had anywhere in years... I figured it would be a little slow on a Friday night but no, they were prompt. Even had a little issue with a arm getting stuck in a chair ( DON'T Ask) lol But the manager and the a cook was right there (Johnny's on the spot) helping her. Even tried to offer her an app. or something to drink. Wasn't even their fault!
On the way out we noticed people waiting and they were eating, they were walking out there with a little tray offering apps. and drinks. Now that's class I was totally impressed. |

We ate there a couple days after it opened. Had the Wally Wings/Fries and the special, Steak Salad and shared. It was great. We loved the Houligan's at Destination Daytona, but with the quality at this new one, we won't have to make the drive. The service was excellent. Their "seasoned" fries are the very best.... Hope it all stays this way. |

Pretty good! Service was great and the atmosphere was fun, but I expected a little more from the food. I had the ribs which were a little too tough and not very favorable, and my wife enjoyed her Buffalo Chicken Salad. Prices were very good. Being a new restaurant I'll definitely return to try again. |
