The employees have always been polite and attentive, but the food is pricey and somewhat mediocre. I've had much better steaks at Martins. Our last trip (for 2 of us): one drink each, lower end entree, side salad, tip--total = $50. In this economy, that was not a good buy or a particularly good meal. |

We had a very nice dining experience this evening! Once again, service was prompt, polite and professional. We enjoyed some items off of the new menu. There's a special discount menu for customers who come in before 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday, which is great for the budget-conscious. The restaurant was very busy with what looked like happy diners - always a good sign in these tough times. :-D |

This was our first trip to the Outback in Palm Coast and it will be out last. First, they tried to seat us adjacent to the restrooms when the dining area was maybe 10% occupied. Our server was fair to poor. The food portions were very small. This was the first time I've ever left an Outback hungry after ordering a salad, lamb and sweet potato. The portions of everything were tiny. The salad I ordered was so soggy and wilted from sitting in dressing it clearly had not been made fresh..... tasted like it was at least "yesterday's" salad. I had maybe 5 tiny bites of lamb on my plate and the rest was bones and fat. The prices have increased too. Once again our first trip to the Outback in Palm Coast was also our last. This was the worst dining experience we've had in the area and we eat out every day. |

The Outback in Palm Coast has gone downhill. We recently ate there and found the portions to be small, the food okay, and the price extremely high. It's very sad, because we loved Outback for years.
Save your money and go to a real steakhouse or cook one at home the way you like it. |

Sorry but we expect more from a nationally advertised restaurant! We gave it a second chance yesterday and for the second time our steak was undercooked. Just to be sure we were ordering correctly, we asked the waiter if medium meant pink through instead of the way it arrived, really red throughout and he agreed it came rare to medium rare instead of the way it should be. We didn't send it back this time because last time it took so long and we didn't all the other food to be eaten while waiting. I guess we just have bad luck with this restaurant but with the price of steak these days, we'll just go elsewhere for steak. |

We came here early on a weeknight. The staff is friendly and professional. Good food but it took awhile for the entrees to come out. As the dinner rush came in, the restaurant felt a little stuffy and the air smelled stale. Some AC would be appreciated! |

Ordered take-out from their website. Say outside waiting for about 20 minutes after the pick-up time I was given. I live only 5 minutes away but my food was stone cold when I got home. I understand problems during peak times, but this was about 8:30 PM and their car park was only half full, so it wasn't very busy. They young man that came to the car was very pleasant though. |

Not the same Outback it used to be! It appears to be operating on a shoestring with a decline in quality, service and portions and a rise in its prices. Like some of the other reviews, our appetizers and entrees arrives almost together making us feel rushed. |

I used to enjoy Outback but from last few visits I feel it has got progressively worse. Staff are always very nice and polite but I feel very rushed and part of a factory line. It's frustrating when you have soup, salad and entree all out within minutes of each other. The waiter expected to just pile it on the table and walk away. This is just not satisfactory. If I send a medium rare steak back to keep warm while I finish my soup and salad it will dry out. When I got out to eat I like to relax and eat at my own pace and not be so pushed to eat and get out! Tonight was my final visit to this Outback and I'll dine where I feel more appreciated. |

The Cracked Black Pepper Salmon with Cabernet Sauce is a special that was on the small menu laying on the table. The salmon was so delicious; cost $14.95. Since I am a small eater, I took half of it home and will have it for lunch tomorrow. The meal also came with grilled asparagus and rice, but they let me substitute the rice with a romaine lettuce dinner salad. Of course, the blue cheese dressing was excellent. The service was great. The staff is always very friendly. |

The food is always very good and the service friendly, but the timing at this Outback is ridiculous. Appetizers and salads come out almost together followed very closely by the entrees. I appreciate a speedy service but I feel rushed and pushed to eat and leave. We now order our items separately to avoid this but it's a hassle we'd rather not do with! |

I took my wife, daughter and her husband there last Saturday night and was very disappointed. The last time I went the service by Dan was very good and the food was hot although the prime rib was tough.
This time we waited an hour, got in and waited another hour and fifteen minutes and finally got our meals. During that hour and fifteen minutes, the server, Not Dan, had to be chased for bread butter and silverware. He lost the order and several other problems occurred.
It got to a point where he started to hide from me. I was civil and polite through the whole meal BUT I wont be back. |

This only our 2nd time at Outback & this one was better than the last. However, I do expect a little more from an Outback. While I enjoyed the potato soup, my dinner special of beef with sautee'd mushrooms and asparagus was disappointing when the vegs were overdone. My husband's NY steak was tender but dry. I gotta admit, we make better steaks at home for almost 1/2 the price. We ordered a refill of bread which arrived after we were done eating. Not worth waiting 45 minutes to get a seat. |

Been there three times over the last year. The first two times the food was very good, but the service was poor (a lot of waiting). The last time me and my girlfriend’s food was extremely salty. The tuna was undercooked and my girlfriend sent it back to get it cooked more prior to eating any.
I had the 8 ounce prime rib and a small crab cake combination special for about $18. The meat was tender and salty, and the crab cake was so salty, all I could taste was the salt.
We arrived there shortly after it opened and the service was still slow and my prime rib was warm. Also I get slightly annoyed when a waitress tries to get you to purchase additional food after you decided what you want. For instance: “Would you like a salad with that?” When the salad isn’t included with the meal. |

I held a Christmas Dinner at this Outback for 30 of my employees. The service was excellent as well as the food. I realize that a group of 30 may be hard to handle. The staff here made it look easy. This has got to be the best Outback that I have ever been to. I am so glad to have this Outback in Palm Coast! Thank you for a great evening, it meant a lot to all of us! |

We went for my Uncles Birthday on 11/18/2007 and boy they were packed. We were quickly seated though and we ordered two NY Strip steaks and one Rib Eye. I also had the French onion soup. Do yourself a favor and get the soup. It was excellent and for $2.99 extra if you don't choose it as a side it is worth it. I will say the Rib Eye was a bit fatty but all in all it was a great meal. And our waitress (wish I could remember her name) was outstanding. I will be going back. |

On a recent visit to Palm Coast I ate out at restaurants 7 out of 10 nights at 6 different places. While I generally try to avoid eating at "chain" restaurants when vacationing I did eat at this Outback one of those nights. I have to say it was the best meal I had of any nights out. |

We have been disappointed with the Palm Coast Outback lately. This evening we were seated and then waited forever for a server to come out and attend to us. After we finally gave our order and got our drinks, everything came out within a minute of each other. We had barely touched our soup when our entrees arrived. He took them back to keep warm and when we were ready for them, they had become very dry. We were also told that the bread wasn't out yet and finally got it towards the end of our meal. This seems to be the pattern here lately with a decline in each visit. I hope it doesn't last too long as we used to enjoy the Outback. |

Dined at the restaurant about one month ago, and had take-away this past Tuesday evening. Both times meals were prepared correctly, both times service was cordial. The only non-positive comment was that, both times, the portions appeared to be smaller than was previously (over six months ago). Fortunately, the prices did not appear to increase, although I cannot be certain. At any rate, we are satisfied so far with this Outback location. |

I went to Outback on Sunday afternoon for lunch. I not only got the best service I ever had, the food was outstanding! I had went to this location before and it was okay nothing special. This time it was just wonderful. Did you know there was a patio outside?? It was the perfect late lunch early diner. The server was great and the manager came over and said hello and had a conversation with me and my family. I will be back over and over again! |

I find it amazing that this particular location can never even come close to the standard found at other Outbacks. I am a glutton for punishment, since I usually enjoy the Outback's food, I keep trying this location. The preparation is never correct here, and by never I am speaking about 40 or more attempts, not just an isolated meal. My favorite experience was waiting for 45 minutes, no soup, no salad, only to be informed they were out of prime rib. The entire staff, starting with the manager and franchisee need to be educated in restaurant operation. So sad, since this chain normally provides a respectable meal elsewhere. |

I have decided that this Outback is terrible! I will continue to go to St. Augustine. I have had several bad takeout issues I order our steaks medium well and when I get home they are still mooing, blood running everywhere. Last time I took them back and they re-cooked new steaks, they assured they were perfect get them home and guess what? The side they put facing up did look good flip it over and it was charred. I called and spoke to Denise owner/manager she apologizes and says she will send out a gift certificate to me within 2 days, well its been 3 weeks and I have received nothing. I retry it anyway and eat in the restaurant and it was okay, I then ordered take out this evening and again I order a steak Medium Well and it was Mooing, pouring blood, and the center was cold I didn't bother to call this time I just fired up my grill and cooked my steak. Rest assured I will not return to this Outback for anything. |

Yet another good meal here. We were seated quite promptly and the service was swift. Our Bloomin' Onion appetizer came out very fast and was hot and fresh. The following salads were equally as fresh and the server kept drinks full. Our steaks were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. This Outback certainly seems to of worked out its initial problems and is now a very efficient restaurant. |

Wow what a difference! When it first opened we decided to give it a try (we usually go to St Augustine ). Terrible experience, 2 hour wait, under trained staff, we vowed to NEVER go back. Well all of that has changed dramatically! We went last week and were ultra impressed. We had a short wait to be seated our waiter was excellent, he described everything perfectly, he kept our drinks full and smiles on our faces! The food was perfect and hot! My wife asked for light spice on her steak and it was perfect!
I wish the bar was smaller or that the seating area was bigger, I think they could easily double in size and still be full up every night. Excellent job to all that work there! |

My wife and I visited last night for dinner. We were seated straight away but it took quite a while before our server arrived. However, the server more than made up for it throughout the rest of our visit by providing excellent service. I was not too fond of the crab dip appetizer but my steak was a good cut and cooked as requested plus all side items were excellent. The chocolate desert was superb! |

Went to Outback tonight for dinner and sat at the bar. The food was good but the service was just OK. The last time we were here, it was exceptional. There was a different staff this evening. There used to be a bartender there named Jan. What happened to her? She was great! We inquired but the only response we got was that she had left the company. The bar staff this evening did not seem excited to be there. Next time we will sit at a table. |

They are so generous to the community be donating free lunches for worthy causes; most recently to the book-bag effort by people from FlaglerOnline. Our visit to Outback Steakhouse far exceeded our expectations! Service was lively, courteous, professional, and inviting. Our waitress was upbeat, very informative, and fully able to help us when it came to making a decision about our order. The food was amazing and we were surprised to see that their happy hour drinks were exceptional considering they were two for one. They tasted perfect. One of my friends enjoyed one of their wonderful wines from their wine list.
We were greeted at the door by friendly hosts and seated promptly. Our waitress was there very quickly to make sure we were comfortable. We visit The Outback on a regular basis and each time is just like this one. We would recommend this Outback to anyone wanting to have a wonderful night out. |

Both visits to The Outback have been turned into waiting too long for our table, well past 30 minutes of the quote and both visits have included the management taking at least 50% off our bill due to errors in the food whether it was service or the cooks , I do not know. Our server was polite however seemed to be a bit inexperienced in the specialty of steaks - his description of the temperatures were much different than what they came out as. Menu is exclusive and to tell you the truth I've had better steaks next door at their competition. Would not recommend this more than an occasional visit. I am sure that with time the food and inexperienced girls at the front door will improve. |

Host/Hostess seemd confused and disorderly. It took 4 girls up front to "figure it out". We called ahead (there was a 1 1/2 hour wait) and still waited 30 minutes when we arrived. The place wasn't even that packed.
Food was average but we were missing items and after the meal was finished our waitress explained they were out.
Our food also took quite a long time to arrive.
If your in a rush, or just have other things to do don't bother! |

I went there for dinner on a Thursday night and I was told by the girl waiting at the door it was a 20 minute wait. So we decided to wait and not walk out like half the people coming in the door did. While I was waiting I took a visit to the ladies room and the stall was so small that if I was another 30 pounds I wouldnt even fit. That was kind of uncomfortable. Walking back to wait outside I looked around and it seems more for people that want to hang out at a bar. The bar takes up the whole place. So thats why there always on a wait theres no where to sit. I checked the time and I was already waiting 40 minutes and was told it was 20. I went to the girl at the door and she told me to talk to the girl at the stand that she had nothing to do with it. I spoke with her an explained how long we were waiting and she said she should of never told me that it was 20 minutes it was at least an hour wait. Rudely she asked me "So are you staying or not" that made me walk right out the door, So I will be going to the Outback in another town! |

This is actually only my second time to an Outback. We had a long wait for a table and had drinks while waiting. The service was exceptional by Palm Coast standards. The food is very good but the menu is not particluarly varied and I guess the most you can really expect here is a choice of steaks. It has a couple of chicken and fish dishes but they didn't sound very interesting. My main complaint about the food here is that it's very dry. They have no sauces and all steaks have teh same seasonings. It would be nice to have some different selections like all the other major steak chains have. |

We ordered their curbside takeout and the service was courteous and swift. The food was well packed and the girl that came to the car was efficient making sure we had everything we needed. The food itself was still hot once we made it home and was well prepared. The flavor was good and steaks and sides cooked perfectly. This is a great alternative to all the other take-out's in town and the food beats them all. |

Finally a decent place to eat in PC, went there on the first day they opened at 4:30 pm sat at a booth by the bar (no wait). Food was great, waitress was passing out samples of cheese fries and bloomin' onions. 2 for1 drinks. Will try to go here at least once a week. Service was exceptional, which is rare in Palm Coast. |
