Sorry to say that we tried this place on the basis of the great reviews. My wife could not eat any of this food. It is raw.It served at room temp. even the water. I thought the Lasagna was edible. Not good but edible. The zucchini pasta isn't pasta. it's raw zucchini with a raw green something on it. I couldn't get it down. The bread is ground up vegetables that have been dried and formed into a cracker. Unless you are a vegan who likes raw food it is not good. The waitress said that eating vegetarian is a baby step and this is a giant leap. |

I have been on a raw food diet since Valentines Day, lost 30 lbs and dropped my cholesterol numbers to well within the normal range!! :) I am lucky enough to live near Almond Blossom Cafe, and try to order takeout on my way home from work at least once a week. Last wk they had a zucchini pasta with a tomato cream sauce, I could not believe how good it was!! I got pecan pie for dessert, best dessert I've had from there, and guilt free!! Their sushi is a work of art and to die for, and the fried rice rivals real Chinese fried rice, only HEALTHY!! Lasagna, MMMMMM! Good salads of course, and the stuffed grape leaves are delicious!! Give them a try, the restaurant has a beautiful and calming atmosphere. It's worth the drive! |

As a firm believer in supporting businesses that are doing right in the world, going to an all organic vegan restaurant was a no-brainier for me. As a well-traveled person and a long-time vegetarian, I've been to other raw vegan restaurants in big cities, and I'd have to say Almond Blossom takes the cake for the quality and quantity of food for the money. My only criticism is that I can't stop thinking about how good the food is, but they are a two-hour drive from my home. Yet I'd advise anyone seeking a meal the is both the most delicious and nutritious they've ever had, it is well worth the trip. |

I stopped in for lunch to see what everyone is talking about. Could the food really be that good? I have to say, the food was great! I had the mole tacos and they were beautifully presented and tasted excellent. I will definitely be back for dinner with friends! |

Out of this world. I am so fascinated to come across a restaurant that serves up such healthy food. I have already tried the stuff avocado. an avocado lover myself I was in heaven. I also tried the green wrap and let me tell you it was so huge I was not able to eat all at once. such a generous amount my moneys worth. the crackers are unbelievable I can't wait to eat today. it will be Mediterranean Grape leaves. I am so eager to go to lunch these days. I save up all my money just to come here. If only people really knew what this means. The music is so perfect. I just enjoy my whole hour. The food is fabulous. Thanks David and Kim you are the best. Thank you for following the Word of God and making it much simpler for me. God bless you and may you both succeed. |

I am a meat eating, former vegan wanting to get back into the lifestyle. I've been meaning to try Almond Blossom for a while, but since I'm never near Flagler Beach I felt it was out of my way. I finally stopped in today for some lunch take out. What was I waiting for?! As soon as I walked in, the aroma made by mouth water. Words can not describe how amazing the food was. The Stuffed Avocados were out of this world. I also had the Mediterranean sampler which also was great. I'll definitely be back!

I have been trying to get to the Almond Blossom Cafe for a few weeks, but it's never worked out. But boy was I glad I finally got there this past Friday! Several of my friends are big fans (they're organics-only or vegetarians) and I trust their judgment.
I had the special Mediterranean sampler platter and have rarely had food so good and fresh as this! The platter was big enough for 2 for an appetizer, but I had it as my entree. Fabulous! It should be on the regular menu!
Friendly, attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere make this a wonderful addition to our community. And a new regular spot for me to enjoy lunch or dinner! |

I am a snowbird who visited in January 2008. I am not a vegan, vegetarian or anything like that. But I like to try new foods and I had never been to a raw food restaurant so I wanted to try it. I loved it! The food was so fresh, healthy and delicious. I attempted to eat there once with my toddler in tow but he had a tantrum so I chose to leave (they were very nice about it!) but I returned another day by myself. One of the owners, David sat down and talked to me awhile. I enjoyed learning more about "eating raw" and bought some books. Since being home I have been inspired to eat healthier and eat more raw in my diet. I had the tacos, Thai curry soup and "cheesecake". It was all so good. I left there feeling a little dizzy and euphoric (my body was shocked to have such a healthy meal I think!) and went home and was very tired. I took a nap (hey I was on vacation!) and it was such a beautiful nap! also, after that meal I felt very full.
I don't know if I could ever become a vegan, vegetarian, raw foodist, etc., but I will definitely make some positive changes to begin with. Thanks for showing us "a better way" and giving me inspiration! I highly recommend this place and the book the owner wrote. |

Ever since Almond Blossom opened, I've been dying to give it a try. I'd heard some mixed reviews from friends and other sources, but I decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. It smells good, too. It's pretty cool, with paper lanterns hanging off the ceiling and a bamboo bar. For starters, we had a strawberry/banana/carob shake. It was delicious! Then we had the ABC sushi. You'd be amazed at what they do to recreate your favorite foods! Instead of sushi rice, they used cauliflower! Those were delicious, too. As for the main course, I got a real treat! Lasagna... only meatless! I have to say, it was the best lasagna, with or without meat, that I've ever had. A great thing to try is a build your own desert after it's all done to wrap up the meal. You won't be disappointed!
All and all, it was a vry interesting and pleasent experience. I can't wait to go back and bring a few friends. |

Consider this; not the healthiest person in the world, a devout carnivore and mildly skeptical, I let my kid talk me into giving this a try. We started with the sushi, yum and then WOW, I had the "fried rice" and it was delicious. I tried her lasagna and almost stole the whole thing right off her plate. I am not kidding, it was the best I have had hot, cold, meaty, or meatless; unbelievable considering what it is all vegan live uncooked. I am going back so that I can have my own next time. The build your own deserts were so good. I really like this place. I am not saying I am going to convert BUT after my experience at Almond Blossom I have accepted my daughter's challenge to try a raw live diet for a full week. |

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch today after reading all the good reviews and we have to agree with the reviewers and their ratings. We are neither vegetarian or vegans; however, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the creativity of the owner/chefs.
We started with a stuffed grape leaves appetizer. I then had the raw pizza which was excellent. My wife had the mole tacos which were also wonderful. We finished by sharing one slice of "cheesecake". Everything was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pretty and calming. Unfortunately, the exterior of the building looks like a prefab garage; however, that's the only negative we could find with this restaurant and we will definitely go back. |

I have eaten at Almond Blossom many times and ALWAYS surprised at the creative ability of Kim and her staff. I understand that raw foods is a difficult concept for most. It is new for me as well. I am not a vegan (yet) but eat a hearty amount of organic fruits and vegetables. Any "flesh foods" will soon be off the table.
The environment is contemporary and relaxing. Every dish is exquisitely prepared and deserves a photograph when placed on your table. I am always amazed how each dish has unbelievable flavors. Be opened minded folks, your body is asking you to. I am a health care professional and am always amazed at how folks take for granted the most important thing they have the power to maintain...themself. They eat for their taste buds and not for the fuel their body is craving. They spend more time and $$ on their care of their furnishings or automobile than their own bodies. Empower yourself folks with new ideas.
Every time we eat at Almond Blossom we comment on how satiated we feel. Crave nothing further. Very reasonably priced as there are MANY ingredients that go into each dish. Anyone who buys organic understands the costs.
Give yourself the "gift of life"...good health, and while you're at it, support your local small business community. |

We tried the Almond Blossom Cafe last night. My wife and I are recent Vegans and have found the shift rather straight forward and we feel great. a close friend told us about the Cafe so we had to try it. Finding good eateries with our change to vegan can be a challenge, but Almond Blossom fits the bill. The atmosphere, service and food were all excellent. Kim, the owner operator, came by the table to introduce herself and welcome us. The Thai soup is a great starter and we finished with "ice cream"... WOW, what a surprise. All aspects of the dinning experience were excellent. We will be back and we highly recommend it. |

The Almond Blossom Cafe was built and designed by two very special people who put their hearts and souls into introducing a very healthy, conscience way of eating organically with only the finest ingredients. The food is great, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the service is great. If you haven't stopped by and visited the cafe, please do, you'll love it. |

The Almond Blossom Cafe has become my favorite restaurant for the fact that the food is great: delicious, organic, nutritionally dense and most importantly cruelty-free. The portions are large and satisfying and the prices are affordable. I like to bring friends and family members there and order several dishes to sample and share. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly. However, since the food is made fresh to order, it is best to go when you are not in a hurry (quality takes time!).
In addition, there is always a wealth of health-related information available to peruse while dining, or to borrow or purchase, as well as upcoming events, speakers and courses offered on a regular basis. The Almond Blossom to me is truly an oasis and a community service. |

I am not a vegetarian and don't think I ever could be one but I don't mind trying vegan food or having a vegan meal once in a while so I thought I'd sample the Almond Blossom Cafe. The place inside is very nice and much more pleasant than it looks from its industrial exterior. I ordered a smoothie and a Portobello mushroom dish. The smoothie, I have to say, was probably the worst one I have ever had and I found it terrible tasting! The Portobello dish wasn't too bad, though. I'm not too sure what was in it but the flavors were very natural and subtle. Overall, I have to say this is not quite for me, but it is an experience and worth checking out for yourself. |

ABC seems to get better and better each time I visit. They have a large array of raw vegan foods. Everything I have tried is excellent! In addition to a large menu they have tons of daily specials ranging from raw pizza to build your own dessert. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone willing to explore their taste buds. Almond blossom also makes beautiful raw vegan cakes. It is great to see another raw vegan restaurant. |

The Almond Blossom Cafe is a bit of a drive for me, as I live in Gainesville, and I can only say that I wish it were closer! The atmosphere is great, very artsy and local, the owners and staff extremely friendly and helpful, the menu excellent and very creative. And--they support live music! As a musician, of course this is important to me. I'm so tired of restaurants where you go and they are all playing the same ubiquitous pop/rock music which has absolutely no relationship to the flavor of the ambience or the cuisine--isn't this a refreshing change? I love the way they serve seasonal, often local, foods--the pumpkin soup I had in the fall was delicious. I can't wait to come back so I can try more of their great recipes! |

Finally an original restaurant in this town worth reviewing! Finding this exquisite place is like discovering GOLD. The area is in dire need of an eatery like this. Not only is the food HEAVENLY, but it is HEALTHY to boot. Their menu is diverse, delicious and nutritious. I've eaten there on several occasions and each time my taste buds were supremely satisfied. The staff are dedicated to the mission of great food served with a smile in a relaxing 'artistic' environment. They have great educational special events as well. Raw Food never tasted so good. Everyone should try this place at least once. No excuses, just go there. |

I am so fortunate that my favorite restaurant is so close to me. Despite the fact they've only been open not even two months... I've been there at least 12 times! :) I also must comment on what another reviewer wrote (who wrote a very positive review) but said the food isn't necessarily low fat or healthy. Granted, not everything is low fat. But, as we well know, people who eat low fat aren't necessarily thin either are they? I eat avocados and coconuts every day (the good fats doctors recommend) and am a size four. Also just eating raw food is going to help one slim down because the digestion process is longer than say eating a cook pizza. Your body uses more hence more calories burned. Also, since ABC only uses fruits nuts and vegetables I think it's the healthiest restaurant I've ever eaten in.... Just a little clarification there that yes, the food is healthy and it's a great way to lose weight. Some of the employees there have lost nearly a 100 pounds... (and yes that's just one on of them) Ok now back to the food review! :)
The nut loaf is superb. The vegan raw tacos to die for and the deserts? Some of the best I've ever had....
I've eaten in raw restaurants from the West Coast to the East Coast (this restaurant just being a few blocks from the beautiful beach!) and must say their cuisine (and friendly staff) are pretty near perfect. I'll definitely be going back and taking more friends. I've already sent a few there on their own too who love it. I've also taken a few folks not too familiar with live/raw food who were very impressed. Kim, the owner has done an impressive job with transforming the inside of the restaurant too. It's like a work of art! It might look a bit modest from the outside, but let me assure you once you go in and meet the great staff, order a bite to eat and enjoy the surroundings you'll want to come back again, and again and again............ ;)) |

I have eaten in house twice and gotten take out as well and have found all my entrees wonderful, or better yet, wonder-fun! My must try's are the grape leaf appetizer, lasagna, and the ravioli's. At first I was a bit timid of the whole "raw foodie" thing, but the food is not trendy but fresh, well prepared, and very tasty. A must try! |

I went to Almond Blossom a few days ago after reading the positive reviews. I really enjoyed the atmosphere; the art work is vibrant, the table settings are lovely, & the music was soothing. The people there are very friendly & knowledgeable.
But, ahhh, the food. I only went for lunch & wanted something light. The menu has such an incredible selection with such mouth watering descriptions that I had trouble deciding!
I ordered the Stuffed Curry Avocado Shells. DEEE- LISH!! Very tangy & spicy- tasted better than I had imagined. My only complaint is that the menu states "The shells are..", but I was only served one (basically one avocado half). I really expected there to be at least two halves, since the price is $7.50. They really should clarify that on the menu. But I stand by my comment that it was DEEE- LISH!!
The best part of my lunch was the dessert (but isn't that the best part of any meal?!). I ordered the Almond Shortcake with fresh strawberries & drizzled chocolate. My taste buds were tingling with almost obscene delight!! I had to keep myself from picking up the plate & giving it a good wipe with my tongue!
For vegetarians, vegans, & raw food fans this place is a new-found gem. Die hard omnivores may have trouble adjusting at first, because the portions may not be large enough. Also, the idea of zucchini "noodles" & pine nut/almond "ricotta cheese" may not sit too well with them. But convince them to give it a try. Bribe them with dessert if it comes to that. Whatever it takes- just go check this place out!
BTW- they assured me that new improved forks are on their way. Also, they will soon be serving organic wines. |

If you're into raw vegan food, you'll find the food delicious, varied, and generally well combined. If you're unfamiliar with raw food or not vegetarian, you'll likely find it satisfying and enjoyable nonetheless. This is not a hoity toity boutique of over-priced salads, the menu has very filling entrees, the portions are large, and the prices reasonable, especially for raw food. The decor is clean and artfully decorated, creating a warm, inviting environment. This is a place you can take vegetarians and meat eaters to and satisfy them both.
As for the comment about raw food not necessarily being low fat, that is certainly true, but most people do not understand that raw plant oils can actually help you lose weight and dissolve fat. Google "Udo Erasmus" for info on that. |

First of all please note that vegetarian cuisine does not mean low fat or necessarily healthy. It just means no meat! But whether you're a vegan or a carnivore, you can still enjoy a meal here. I had this great ravioli stuffed with a nuts, etc., and there were many other great choices I'd like to of tried. It's done very well and I will be back. |
