Constructed 80-years ago in 1925, the Flagler Beach Municipal Pier has become the elemental landmark for the county.
Although over past years storm damage has shortened the pier, it originally stretched 844 feet over the Atlantic Ocean. The pier is extremely popular with fisherman where three state-record fish have been caught. A bait shop is also located on the pier providing supplies as well as offering local fishing advice.
For early risers, the pier serves as an ideal spot to watch the sun rise and its restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Street parking is available along Oceanshore Boulevard (A1A).
