Very disappointed in recent visits. We have been customers for years. However, the past several months, the food has been consistently horrible, and I mean horrible. Also have experienced problems with slow service and bill not being accurate. Floors sticky and restaurant doesn't seem as clean.
I got a half chicken, dark, TO GO, but when I bit into a leg it was the dryest chicken, I have ever had. When I called to tell them (it was going to be my dinner) I wanted a refund the Next Day. However, the manager, Joe, would NOT take my rejection, and insisted,on delivering a new chicken, to my home! It was Moist, with 2 side orders, Free! I was impressed! They Have my business forever now!
Now I will Recommend Woody's for a Bar-B-Que restaurant, when asked. I am a Permanent resident of Beverly Beach. I was treated as a very valuable Person. Thank You.
First, let me say that at one time I loved Woody's. However, our last visit there was a huge disappointment, and the ladies that I was with are probably not going back. The waiter messed up our orders badly; unbelievably so. We practically had to beg for coffee over and over. The food was swimming in grease. The bills were messed up.
I don't know what is going on with Woodys... I want to think this is a momentary bump in the road with them.. I don't know what is going on there.
Our family goes to Woody's at least 2 to 3 times a month, we enjoy the casual dining and they, have a great Full BAR! Great Long Island Ice teas! Specials are wonderful... Portions could be a tad more but over for service they are nice and attentive. Only wish they had honored a special for Veterans on Veterans day!
The place inside is kind of fun but a little grimy. Their BBQ is quite good but sometimes it can too dry. Side are quite good although I'd like to see some fresh options on their menu. Some nice fresh veggies would be nice instead of soggy canned green beans! Service usually efficient and prices reasonable.
