Waste of $30 !Dont know what happened. They used to be good when they opened .I guess it's like all Chinese now not very good! The woman at the register was very rude and I'll never eat here again. Can probably make better Chinese at home .I wonder when Palm Coast is going to get some good restaurants!
We ate there the chicken and broccoli did not taste, look like chicken at all, gross. The Mongolian beef was a plate full of onion and more onions and more onions, the beef was ok, but didn't need about 3 big onions as my meal?
We were frequent customers of Bamboo Creek When it first opened . We also used to go to Royal Dynasty in Ormond Beach.
Now that Royal Dynasty has closed we thought we would go back to Bamboo Creek. What a mistake.
We ordered moo shu pork. A dish we are very familiar with. It is supposed to be finely shredded pork, vegetables and egg. mixed in a lite brown sauce and served with thin rice pancakes and plum sauce.
What we received was clumps of pork with fat attached some vegetables swimming in oil and soy sauce. the Special "Plum sauce" seemed to be a mixture of mustard, soy sauce and I don't know what else, it wasn't purple and it wasn't Plum.
To top it off the "Pancakes" were "Tortillas" That's right, the kind you get at Publix when making Fajitas.
We complained to the server. She shrugged and said "I don't know" "I ask" she never returned, except to bring the check. We were hungry so we ate our other dish, a so so beef with broccoli, picked at the non fat pieces of pork and a few vegetables.
When we paid the check the Manager was hostile. We asked why the "Rice Pancakes" were Tortillas, She replied "That's how we do it now you no like, no order"
At one time this was the best Chinese restaurant in the area. It consistently took 'the best of reader's awards. NOT ANYMORE! Like a soldier being drummed out and stripped of his medals, Palm Coast should take down their awards. Not sure of what happened to them but my guess is they changed ownership and chefs. The food is tasteless at best and overcooked at worst. MY husband and I avoid it now. For future advise don't waste your money.
Do not waste your time or money, customer service is terrible, orders wrong, and god forbid if you tell them you want it fixed, they will just ignore you and take the next order behind you, or they will just look at you and like so many others on here said they will blame you for the mess up! I am a fair person and not once, not twice but three times have given them a chance... everyone has a off day once and a while. And every time without fail they will never own up. The day the door closes or someone with customer service skills takes over wont be soon enough in my book.
We used to love Bamboo Creek, but now we're never going there again. We attempted to order food today and were met with an extremely rude, impatient woman who got our order wrong several times because of how much she was trying to rush us. Whenever we called to have our order corrected, the woman insisted that the mistake was ours and there was nothing incorrect about the order. We will miss the excellent food, but not the employees who act burdened by their customers.
The Food was great. The service at the front desk. rude, rude, rude. He is always on his cell phone. I never get the food right away when it comes out of the kitchen. He makes me sit there and wait while he is on his cell phone. Overall I feel like cattle being herded in for slaughter. He could care less about his customer!
The manager at the order desk for phone orders was extremely rude and argumentative with me.
This issue arose after he misunderstood and doubled my order. I graciously accepted and paid
anyway because I was a long standing customer. When I asked him to verify next time he
insisted that I ordered two (which I never did) and offered no apology. He stood there insisting
I was wrong, even though I am a good customer. He should have said thank-you for taking the order.
This was not the first time there were mistakes that they do not correct. As a paying customer, I was shocked at his behavior. I will not recommend or patronize again.
